Happily Ever After

Crown Prince Charles and Crown Princess Victoria sit down with Vogue for their third wedding anniversary

We are welcomed to Everton House, the Official Residence of the Crown Prince and Princess of Illyria, by a kind but efficient young woman who introduces herself as Her Royal Highness’ Private Secretary. She ushers us through the long hallways and into a formal, but comfortable sitting area where we are going to conduct the interview. While every interview I undertake is different in its own way, the briefing for this one is certainly one I haven’t had before. We go through the correct greetings (At first “Your Royal Highness” and then Sir or Ma’am after that) and I'm even given a short curtsy lesson! 

The sun is streaming through the high windows as we wait for our interview to begin. Sarah, the Private Secretary, apologises that Their Royal Highness's are running late. Finally the door opens and Her Royal Highness Crown Princess Victoria sweeps into the room. She’s wearing a beautiful silk skirt and blouse combo and approaches with her apologies - Prince Edward was struggling to go down for his nap time. I put my recently learned curtsy into action but she immediately sets us at ease and asks if Sarah has offered us tea or coffee. “Our staff here are fantastic, I wouldn’t get through the day without Sarah!” It is a reminder of those who work behind the scenes to make the fairy-tale story work. While the public see the polished tiaras, sweeping ball gowns, and excellent photo ops (often with cute babies!) The work that goes into these moments starts here at Everton House.

Eventually the door opens a second time and Crown Prince Charles walks in followed by a stony faced young man who I presume to be his own Private Secretary. The Prince lays on the charm, apologising for this tardiness, "The King waits for noone" he laughs. We all sit on the arranged couches, staff hovering nearby just in case someone needs something, and we begin.

The Water Palace

Sometimes ago, I created this Water Palace for my dear friend @mirarae-royals. I know that she have an Indian inspired Royal Family and I always facinated with the culutre. So I decided to make this for her.

This Palace was inspired by ancient traditions of many Asian Cultures where bathing is such a sacred rituals. Kings and Sultans usually have a special palace built for the purpose. The Palace usually have the purest of water that sometimes mix with flowers and herbs with many benefits, such as anti-aging.

I must say, that it gave me great pleasure to built this one. I always love to build something cultured and exotic. I wish more of Asian inspired items were made for The Sims in the future!

Maximilian: I see that you're by yourself, where is your beloved fiancee?

Marie: She went to freshen up, It is rather stuffy in here, after all.

Maximilian: Oof. You don't have to be so cold, Lili. Is it how you treat an old flame?

Marie: If I say yes, will that stop whatever it is you're doing?

Marie: What could you possibly want out of me?

Maximilian: What does that mean? I want to form an alliance and ease tension, what else is there?

Marie: You say that, but you have yet to offer me anything that would be worth it. I'm offering you a piece of my military, mind you.

Maximilian: I'm aware of that, but it's been quite difficult to meet your standards.

Marie: I don't see how aiding a country in need is the line for you. We only have one more day here, so you better come up with something. Unless...

Maximilian: Please, I'm not that man anymore. Give me a little credit.

Marie: You appearing alongside Countess Irene said otherwise, your highness. It's not a coincidence that your wife refuses to come.

Maximilian: My love life should be none of your concern. Your jealousy knows no bounds, does it?

Marie: You think I'm jealous of them? I pity them, really. I'd pity any woman who is so unfortunate to be on your radar.

Maximilian: Don't pretend your some saint now. The way you flaunt your fiancee like she's some goddess.

Marie: It seems I hit a nerve.

Maximilian: It's quite childish to think that your little stunt will get me to notice again.

Marie: What??

Maximilian: You heard me. Honestly Lilia, how long will you keep this up? I know you miss me, but your pride is keeping you from seeing me.

Marie: Miss you? You?? I fear that you've forgotten what kind of "relationship" we had. And I don't wish to go through all that again, especially since I'm happily engaged.

Maximilian: and you think your beloved fiancee will love you for the rest of your life? Like the same with Asteria?

Marie: ...

Maximilian: It seems I hit your nerves.

Marie: Don't you have a hostess to attend to?

Maximilian: Yes, indeed I do. I hope you enjoy this party, Lilia.

Marie: Just. go.

Octavia: Um, did something happen?

Marie: Nothing noteworthy happened.

Octavia: Are you sure? You look upset.

Marie: Positive.

I had a lot of fun taking pictures for the fake Vogue cover - I almost went with this pink dress photo but ultimately I thought they looked too much like they were being forced to do this. Which they were but a shot showing that would never be approved lol

But then I went from taking portraits to making AU couple-y shots that are very AU but made me happy 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️

State Banquet at Versailles : Emperor Napoléon IV offers his royal guest the lair of the Sun King

For the first time during his reign, His Imperial Majesty received a foreign power at Versailles. Indeed, receiving guests at Versailles is extremely rare, so it was a matter of special attention from the Emperor. The Palace of Versailles is a place of power, French history and demonstration par excellence. A hundred guests are expected to attend the dinner in the famous Galerie des Batailles.

Duke Oliver of Rothsey appears adorned with the Order of the Legion of Honour, which he received from Emperor Napoléon IV earlier in the day. This lavish state dinner should allow the Francesim to assure its good feelings and support for the Scots kingdom. It is a very formal event, and under high surveillance: imperial guards, bodyguards, snipers, police… All the more so as the state dinner is filmed live.

The radiant Empress Marie-Joséphine walks with the Prime Minister, Charlemagne de Maupas. She wears the sapphire finery of the Duchess of Angouleme and the ribbon of the Legion of Honour.

The young guest duke, who will soon be joining the Polytechnic School with the Children of Francesim, will be able to experience the world-renowned French cuisine on his first day !

Pour la première fois durant son règne, Sa Majesté Impériale reçoit à Versailles une puissance étrangère. En effet, recevoir à Versailles est extrêmement rare, il s'agit donc d'une attention particulière de l'Empereur. Le château de Versailles est un lieu de pouvoir, d'histoire française et de démonstration par excellence. Une centaine d'invités sont attendus ce soir au repas à la célèbre Galerie des Batailles.

Le duc Oliver de Rothsey apparaît orné de l'ordre de la Légion d'Honneur, qu'il a reçu de l'Empereur Napoléon IV plus tôt dans la journée. Le jeune duc invité, qui rejoindra bientôt l'École polytechnique avec les enfants de Francesim, pourra faire l'expérience de la cuisine française de renommée mondiale dès son premier jour !

The palace annual release of Christmas cards is extra special this year. The children we have watched grow up, now for the first time have their escorts in the official photos! H.R.H Duchess Demi and her new Husband Duke Baylor send out their first holiday greetings as a couple. H.R.H Crown Prince Bernard bucks tradition and has included is fiancee! Royal tradition dictates he wait until marriage but his highness had other plans. The family Photo will be released as tradition on Christmas Day! Happy Holiday everyone!

Emperor Napoléon V makes a speech to the French Parliament. He calls for the union of parties for the protection of national institutions. He also called for the opening of parliamentary discussions on the repression of revolts. Finally, the coronation of Emperor Napoléon V will take place in autumn of the year 230.

Napoléon V : Chers députés, chers sénateurs,

Nous, Français, avons la réputation d'attendre un grand bouleversement politique pour satisfaire les opinions publiques. Personnellement, je suis intimement convaincu qu'il faut plutôt faire le Bien pour mériter la confiance du pays. L'action de mon Gouvernement s'y consacrera entièrement.

Je me dois, au-vu des nombreuses interrogations, d'y répondre. Il n'y a que les causes bien définies qui créent de convictions profondes, tout comme les drapeaux hautement déployés inspirent des dévouements sincères.

Members of the Royal Family Arrive!

Members of the Royal Family started arriving at the Abbey. First to arrive was TM Queen Cecelia the Queen Mother, Queen Margaret, and HRH Princess Eugenia Dowager Duchess of Cardiff and Rochester former Princess of Oasis Springs and her daughter HH Princess Alexandra Duchess of Bridgeport. @ourwillowcreekroyals

TRH The Princess Victoria and Prince Gabriel Duchess and Duke of Stonesby arrived. HRH was wearing her wedding tiara, the Magnolian Pearl Tiara with the Mellario Rose Brooch which was her mother, Queen Cecelia’s wedding gift from her father. 

TIH The Crown Prince and Crown Princess of Alderaan arrived next. HIH was seen wearing the Palmette Tiara which is being loaned to her by her mother. She also wore the Simstrian Pearl Brooch which was a gift from her godfather, Anton Archduke of Simstria-Simgary. HRH the Princess Lorelei Princess Royal joined her younger sister and brother-in-law. She wore The Simstrian Pearl Tiara which is one of her signature tiaras, she has been photographed wearing it three times, she wore it with the Harcourt Brooch.

The last of the Royal Family to arrive was TM the King and Queen’s children. Their daughters debuted their first tiaras. HRH the Princess Mary Duchess of Courland wore a tiara which has not been seen since 1915, Queen Maud’s Diamond Tiara. Queen Maud’s Diamond tiara was made using diamonds which were acquired by Queen Maud in 1578, she passed away and the diamonds have been in the family ever since. The Diamonds used to make a tiara in 1895, which is now known as Queen Maud’s Diamond Tiara. HRH paired it with the Dehli Durbar Necklace and Earrings along with an unknown Emerald Brooch. HRH the Princess Madeleine wore another tiara which hasn’t been seen in half a century, the Sapphire Wave Tiara. The Sapphire Wave Tiara was purchased by Queen Marina in 1937, and was last seen worn by Princess Beatrice Princess Royal in 1973. HRH wore the Tiara with Queen Amelie’s Sapphire Parure which is currently used by her mother. HRH The Prince Michael made his first public appearance ever, he hasn’t been seen by the public in years.

Some Historical Sims/Extended Family

Some sims from my extended family tree! Some have a story, others are just pretty sims I wanted to share before they live out the rest of their sim life in my library.

Names, titles, short descriptions, etc. under the cut

King Emmitt I - Born in 1651, he was the son of King Enric and his mistress. As an illegitimate child, Emmitt was not initially recognized in the line of succession. With all of Enric's legitimate heirs meeting mysterious or untimely deaths, Enric changed the law to allow Emmitt and any future illegitimate children of the monarch to be recognized in the line of succession. King Emmitt went on to be one of the most beloved kings in Trenton history.

Lady Tessa Ingebretson, nee Gravatt - Born in 1895, she was the first wife of Lord Elliot Ingebretson (great-grandfather to Everly and Kiana). The two were a love match and had twin daughters Rose and Iris, neither with lavender eyes. She was pressured by her father in law to bear a lavender eyed child but was unable to conceive. Tessa died when the twins were four years old, due to an unknown illness.

Lady Margarete Ingebretson, nee Van Cleave, the Countess of Benton - Born 1897, she was the second wife of Lord Elliot Ingebretson. Margarete's marriage to Elliot was promised to her from a young age and she was enraged when he married another. Her eventual marriage to Elliot was arranged through Elliot's father. She bore him a lavender eyed son. Margarete was said to be one of the leaders in the plot to assassinate the royal family (mentioned here).

Lady Samantha Humphrey, nee Bartram, the Marchioness of York - Born 1890, the granddaughter of King Evander and cousin to Queen Emelina. Took on an active role in the royal family to help out Emelina after the death of most of her family.

Lord Bradley Humphrey - Born 1914, the second son of Lady Samantha Humphrey.

Lord Arthur Carmichael, Duke of Ruchester - Born 1963, the cousin of Queen Gabriela.

Lady Jayda Carmichael - Born 1994, daughter of Arthur Carmichael. Future Duchess of Ruchester. Has twin boys around the same age as Emmett and Payton.

Lady Sheila Carmichael - Born 1998, cousin of Jayda

Lady Tara Carmichael - Born 2002, sister of Sheila. Aspiring fashion designer, works for one of the fashion houses that designs gowns and dresses for the royal families across the siminent.

The Former Imperial Family of Kazoku.

For over 200 years the house of Bei lead the Empire of Kazoku until the Shugi-sha party took control of the nation through a military coupe. Both the Emperor and the Daegam ( Crown Prince) were killed during the raid of the Parlimentary palace. Both the Empress and her daughter in law, the pregnant Princess Nanami escaped to Correlia.

since the fall of Imperial Kazoku, the Empress and Princess have stayed at Cardiff Castle at the request of the Correlian Royal family.

The Imperial family, which was once the most powerful in the world has now faded to just three members.

Today, Crown Princess Anastasia and Countess Beverley of Seaton were wed in a private ceremony.

The Crown Princess’ bridesmaids were, Lady Sada of Oasis Springs, Grand Duchess Faina and Madeleine of Eslia and Princess Annalise of Vaestronia.

The Crown Princess was accompanied by her father whilst walking down the aisle. The couple were wed by the Queen Dowager.

4t3 Conversion From BatsFromWesteros’ Jewelry Catalog                                                (ft. RoyaltySimblr)

A 4t3 conversion from 83 items of BatsFromWesteros’ catalog, now for ts3! This was a long time coming, and as I said in my most recent post, I put a lot of work into this, since this number is nothing short of amazing, especially for the very deep niche I’m in! I know I may disappoint some people, but I genuinely think this could be useful for 99% of you, so I really hope you like it! Also because we just desperately needed jewelry in ts3, there’s just so little of it! Lots of stuff to talk about, as you probably guessed haha, so please read it all! Enjoy! <3

Now as you probably guessed, I could NEVER take screenshots & edit preview pictures for 83 pieces of jewelry, so I really hope their thumbnails are enough for you to see the dimension of this + if what you were maybe waiting for is included!

In this compilation were converted: Queen Mary Collection, Queen Victoria Emerald Parure, Elisabeth Ruby Set, Fife Fringe Set, Brazilian Aquamarine Set, Wessex Aquamarine Set, A Royal Wedding Collection, along with other singularly released pieces!

Known Problems:

Most of the stuff here has lighting glitches in CAS, because of their specular maps! Note that they are perfectly fine in-game, is just a bug! Hope no one deletes everything because of this!

Necklaces are terrible in ts3, so expect clipping in a lot of animations! Sorry!

Brooches might a lot of times not work, getting either inside of the top/dress or being way too far from it. This also happens in ts4, and there’s nothing I could do about it, since we sadly don’t have a specific slider for them like for hats! Also explains the lack of brooches for ts3, in general! So sorry!

The Elisabeth Ruby Necklace may sink into the sims’ body, because of it’s odd location and bone assignment, which can’t be changed.

It’s 83 items, I most probably overlooked something, so please tell me whenever you find something wrong, and I’ll do my best to fix it!

THINGS TO KNOW BEFORE DOWNLOADING:

EVERYTHING (except for two brooches) IS VERY HIGH POLY! IF YOU DON’T HAVE A MEDIUM TO HIGH PC RIG, THIS COMPILATION IS NOT RECOMMENDED! I wasn’t able to reduce them in any way since the pearls added in everything automatically looked deformed, or worse, would simply vanish! But I promise that whenever I could I reduced them by a lot (example: Indian Cartier Pearl Tiara)! From what I can recall (it’s 80+ items, I can’t remember it all even if I wanted to lol), the highest accessory is 45K. Won’t create any problems on sims, like bugs or explosions, but on the game’s performance, if a lot of stuff is used, yes. Sorry again, but nothing I could do about it, as I said!

Necklaces have separate morphs, with their respective thumbnails, except for the Margaret’s Diamond Necklace & Wessex Aquamarine Necklace, which already have morphs included)! You’ll see 3 versions of them: the regular one, one with an “F” written at the side, for fat morph, and one with a “T”, for thin morph! Hope that’s useful for all of you!

Some pieces have 2 presets, for better customization! Can’t remember which, hope you’ll use them tho haha!

ALL tiaras are hat compatible!

Brooches don’t have morphs, except for The Victoria Brooch and the Queen Victoria Emerald Brooch! Sorry, but they were just way too high poly to add them!
