Hello, new follower here, I have some questions for you.
What is Adoregos relationship with Wrathion? From the few drawings I saw it looked very interesting.
Has Taria something to do with Varian? (First time I saw a drawing of her I thought "cool Varian art here" but then I have read it's an OC not Varian).
Adoregos was introduced to Wrathion during Dragonflight. Prior to that, he'd been in a sort of isolated stasis after the second invasion of the Burning Legion during the third war when his wife was killed (and he assumed, his children as well). When he was reunited with his flight and his children, Tarvasha (my main and his youngest) introduced him to Wrathion as she works as a Blacktalon advisor. He was immediately twitterpated with the younger dragon. He found him fascinating because he was so different from the other dragons.
While Adoregos hasn't actually made a move on Wrathion, he does flirt with him often (to the younger dragon's annoyance). The pictures I draw with the two of them are just some silly what-ifs for now, but Adoregos has years to woo him, so he's in no rush.
Here's some of Adoregos' history HERE
Taria is the daughter of Lo'Gosh. I've got a full (if a bit outdated) explanation HERE. But the timeline is as follows:
Year 4 - Tarvasha (her mother) is born in the Tranquil Glades to a Highborne mother. She is half human due to Adoregos' visage at the time they created her.
Year 20 - Tarvasha's strained relationship with her mother's kin due to her mixed blood comes to a head and she cuts her ears to apart more human with the intent of leaving for Dalaran. Just after, the Burning Legion is drawn to the Tranquil Glades and corrupts it into Felwood. Tarvasha flees, avoiding Elves along her path south and eventually finds her way into Durotar. She travels to the shore in search of a way across the sea and stumbles into the newly arrived orcs. One of them persuades the others to spare her and she becomes his slave for the next few years.
Year 25-26 - Tarvasha is thrown to boars in the arena after attacking one of Oog'tar's (her slavemaster) "customers". The deal is that, if she survives, she'd be freed. If not, she'd die with honor. By some miracle, she survives, though she's horribly wounded. Oog'tar calls in another round of boars and a human gladiator speaks out, fighting in her place. That human is Lo'Gosh (though he hadn't earned the name yet). When he defeats the boars, she begs Rehgar to let her stay with them as freeing her into Durotar would likely lead to her death.
She and Lo'Gosh become close and take comfort in each other, though she maintains that he never felt as strongly for her. After Lo'Gosh remembers his family at the vision cave in Thunder Bluff, he begins to forget her, even leaving her behind. Rehgar has no use for her so he secures her passage to Theramore. She realizes she's pregnant and decides to stay with the humans. When the gladiator trio arrive in the city and Lo'Gosh's identity as the lost king is revealed, she realizes that they have no future together. After Anduin is kidnapped and Varian is restored, it is decided that she would keep her child a secret (along with others who knew such as Valeera, Jaina, Rehgar, and Thrall)
Taria is born not long after Varian departs for Stormwind.
Year 27-29 - Tarvasha raises Taria alone and develops her career as a trader. After the cataclysm, she is able to secure deals and create trade routes to elevate her status.
Year 30 - The two travel to Pandaria for be trade opportunities and Tarvasha ends up assisting Vol'jin's rebellion against Garrosh. During a covert mission, Tarvasha is captured and tortured by Oog'tar who had become a quartermaster under Hellscream. She is kept alive due to her past connection with the king. After she is freed and Garrosh goes to trial, she is called in as a character witness.
Taria had stayed at the Tavern in the Mists during this time and Tarvasha sends for her to come to the Temple of the White Tiger where the trial is being held. Tong escorts the little girl, but they are attacked by a massive tiger along the way. He managed to get her to the Temple, though she is gravely wounded. As everyone is inside, there are few available to help.
Wrathion steps in, having heard the girl talk to Tong about her father being Lo'Gosh during her time at the Tavern. He offers to save her life in return for Tarvasha's service (and Taria's when she comes of age). Tarvasha reluctantly agrees.
Year 31-32 - Taria is healed in a chronomantic chamber which ages her body. Magic is used to age her mind as well and she wakes up at about 20 years old, 16 years older than she should be. She wants nothing to do with her mother, so Wrathion keeps her location and status a secret.
While Taria does serve as muscle for the Blacktalon, she is interested in finding her father. She only knew he was a gladiator in an orcish fighting ring and believes him to be an orc despite her human appearance. She is allowed to travel to Durotar to "learn from her father's people". Wrathion never corrected her because he hated Varian.
She stumbles upon the orcish village of Nosh'rok and meets Grok'tor Ironbite, an old veteran who knew her mother. He figured out who she was and allowed her to learn about the orcs and their ways, so long as she pulled her weight and was respectful.
A LOT happens during retail. She learns about her father's true identity, though chooses to remain with Grok'tor. Her mind is dominated by a mage and she goes on a drug binge, which leads to her body being forced into a crude druidic pack form when she gets kidnapped and experimented on. She gives birth to a daughter she had with a human. A cult kidnaps her and amputates her left foot. She has a son with Grok'tor. Grok'tor is attacked by humans in their home in Surwich (which she receives from her stepfather) and passes away. Taria dove into the Shadowlands to rescue her bother and lost Grok'tor's soul in the process. She retires from the Blacktalon to focus on her children, but is called back in by Wrathion during Dragonflight.
She's spent all of the War Within following her brother around, but still has not revealed who she is to him.
That was more than I was hoping to write! I'm happy to expand on any stories you might be interested in! Thanks again for the asks! :D
