Thought it was high time I made a pinned post! I’m Snow/Snowfires (she/her). This blog mainly focuses on UTDR and my fic “Like Comets in the Night”, a reader-insert/bad sans poly fic focused on star-crossed love, anxiety, dating a bunch of evil skeletons, and multiversal schenanigans.

Fandoms and general things I enjoy: UTDR, Zelda (my all time favourite), Alien Stage, Hollow Knight/Silksong, Hazbin Hotel, Apothecary Diaries, MHA, and Indie Animation!

~About Asks~

Asks are always open! I might be slow to respond but I read and appreciate every one! Some asks may be bundled together if they cover similar topics.

I don’t have very many rules/restrictions for this blog other than to keep things sfw and avoid overly graphic/potentially triggering content (ex. SH, eds, etc.)

You've mentioned the fam has regular movie nights, but what are their favorites? Genre and/or one specific title?

On that note, if there's a clash in tastes, how do they decide which one gets watched?

They'd probably have a rotating system for who gets to pick the movie, but Killer and Horror frequently pass on their turns because they don't really care what the film is (Killer because he loves variety and even enjoys watching bad films for the funnies, Horror because he values the time together more than the activity).

The only real rule for movie night is no horror films or anything overly gorey/violent. Dust and Killer watch those separately, as Horror can't handle them.

As for favourites....

Dust would very much be a science fiction fanatic, especially if the science fiction is set in space or involves alien lifeforms in any way. His favourite would be tales about seeking out and exploring new planets, with Interstellar and Project Hail Mary being particular favourites of his.

Horror would love films with strong focuses on family and friendships, and the importance of connection with others. Medium/individual genre would be less important to him than that.

I think he would also love Project Hail Mary as well as Wolf Children and The Chronicles of Narnia.

Nightmare would LOVE period pieces/historical dramas as well as documentaries (both history and nature) and musicals. Among those genres, his favourites would be stories that involve romance.

He would find Little Women to be a particularly interesting film given that it spans multiple points during the lives of the characters and for its commentary on familial bonds and womenhood. He would also adore The Tale of Princess Kaguya (the Ghibli film) because he is absolutely a lover of traditional folktales and would be facinated by the artstyle and melancholy ending.

But his favourite films would be Pride and Prejudice and The Sound of Music.

Cross would love romances and fantasy films. He would probably quite like The Princess Bride and Howl's Moving Castle.

He would also have a bit of a soft spot for old black and white films, given that his own universe was nearly entirely black and white. It feels homey. It's a Wonderful Life and Miracle on 34th Street would be must-watches around Giftmas.

Killer would love action films. Give him anything with decent combat and a tense plot, and he's game. He'd have a good time watching any Star Wars/Marvel/DC movie, Hunger Games, etc, but he usually insists on picking new movies and rarely has favourites. What's the point in having access to every movie ever made in the whole multiverse if you're going to watch the SAME THING over and over?

He'd also adore a good comedy.

Error very rarely bothers to join in for movie nights, and usually only does so at Nightmare's behest. But he is in it for the dramas. Anything with a convoluted family or romance drama plotline is his favourite type of film. He isn't one to bother rewatching movies when he could be binge watching new tv episodes, so he doesn't have any particular favourites.

Man scary thing about allergies is you can literally become allergic later in life our of nowhere. RIP Horror making his wife her favourite meal and sending her into anaphylaxis

The random things that can happen to the human body are terrifying in general. Sudden allergies, organs randomly twisting (yes this is a thing).... we are very fragile creatures and it absolutely keeps Nightmare awake at night.

What sort of aquatic creature do you think the Reader would be? Something pretty? Fast? Something symbiotic?

And

Reader would be a mermaid based on the bluestreak cleaner wrasse—one of many species of fish in coral reefs which helps remove parasites/dead tissue from other fish; basically as close as a fish can come to being a healer.

You end up finding Killer when he's wandered from Nightmare's reef, injured and far too covered in algae for his own good. As you do for anyone who comes for your aid, you fix him up with your magic.

Only he... may get a tad attached.

He comes back constantly, even when he's barely in need of healing, until eventually he just kind of... picks you up while you're tired and takes you back with him. Their reef doesn't have a mer specialized in healing... you'd be the perfect addition to their colony!

Nightmare is exasperated, especially when he finds you have no objection to the idea of remaining with Killer. But why would you? Nightmare's reef is beautiful, Horror keeps you fed well, and Cross brings you so many treasures. You like living in the cave system they've carved into their home... cuddling close with Killer, your tail wrapped around his faintly glowing one. And Nightmare makes for good company too, with so many stories of the wide ocean and its magic.

...and if you may have belonged to another coral mermaid, before... Well, he should have kept a closer eye on you.

We’d probably all be fucked because we’d have shit like polio and smallpox running rampant everywhere guys 😭 And most of us wouldn’t have gotten past birth/infancy

Ngl I think the Gang and MC’s relationships will always have a bittersweet feel to me. Like I read the stress and anticipation in the story then jump to your tumblr to read headcanons and it’s like fucking WHIPLASH with how softer and sweeter they’ll be to our character in the (far) future. And it’s bittersweet with how MC will always have, even if barely there in the future, some fear towards three out of five of her datemates. Like, yeah, MC was an enemy when they first met - but a AMNESIAC HEALER who HAS NO (at least remembered - the one LV is a reminder of that) FIGHTING EXPERIENCE!!! Like yeah throwing the perceived enemy in the dungeon is kinda expected and even approved - but everything else? Horror taunting MC with the cannibalisc belief the Mulitverse has about him? Dust actively going out of his way hurting and threatening MC even after she hurts herself HEALING CROSS? Nightmare’s entire unnecessary intimidating entrance and accusations against MC in their first face-to-face meeting/interrogation? Thus MC not being able to stomach Horror’s pancakes, thus MC not being able to be anywhere near Dust when he’s even slightly too snappish, thus MC not being able to relax the same way the boys can whenever Nightmare calls forth his shadows. Not the mention the inevitable bad dreams - when, even if they’ll have enough trust to share the same bed, MC will wake in panic and when they go to comfort she’ll flinch back in the moment of being half-awake. And I can’t even begin to think of what will happen in the future before the other relationships start to kindle that will add to all that (I am specifically looking at the Bear Trap Incident - and everything else you’ve hinted). And the boys have no one to blame but themselves.

“Unnecessary intimidating entrance”… Nightmare would die on the hill that his entrances are always the perfect level of intimidating and showy 😉

But yes… they’ve all done (and will do) not so great things, that cannot be entirely forgotten, even if they are forgiven.

I know a lot of ask blogs commonly answer questions on sensitive/dark topics, but I truly feel that these topics should be handled with care and consideration that you won’t find on my silly little skeleton fic blog.

Moreover, you don’t know the person behind the blog—who they’ve known, what they’ve themselves struggled with. Thus, I don’t think SH/suicide/eds are appropriate topics to ask about. Not just on my blog but in general.

Hence why my pinned post says not to ask about these things 😅
