Thought it was high time I made a pinned post! I’m Snow/Snowfires (she/her). This blog mainly focuses on UTDR and my fic “Like Comets in the Night”, a reader-insert/bad sans poly fic focused on star-crossed love, anxiety, dating a bunch of evil skeletons, and multiversal schenanigans.

last two asks kinda make me curious on which of the boys would let vampire reader chomp on them? cmon it’s for sustenance!! 👀
Killer is obviously very down early on. Feeding time means you being extremely close, which leads to cuddling and a ton of nuzzles. Plus, with his LV, he barely feels it when you bite him, and he's got a ton of extra magic lying around for your use.
If we consider how smell and scent are linked, especially with florals, then Killer also tastes pretty good. His magic is fresh like rain, with a bit of basil and a strong, sickly-sweet taste from the nightshade.
During your capture, it would keep him up at night how he can't come down to look after you without drawing suspicion, but the others clearly have no idea that your AU altered your biology from a standard human. He's very grateful when he notices bite marks on Cross' collar after he has him look after you...
Dust has the most magic, and would therefore be the most ideal to chomp on. In the early days, you would feign feeding frenzies just to get a bite. Partly to drink in that sweet, cocoa and lemon taste, and partly just to fuck with him for being such an asshole. It makes your relationship even worse than before.
Later, he is a bit nervous about you feeding from him—you have to go rather slowly, because otherwise Dust fears it'll trigger a LV rush. But he really enjoys it, often falling asleep mid-way through a feeding and having to be gently shaken awake afterwards. Usually it takes so much effort to expend all his magic... but this method is so simple, and he gets to curl up in his wife's arms to do it.
Horror cannot let you feed from him. It brings back uncomfortable memories of when his people, due to his own hubris, found themselves with no choice but to continue feeding on humans. Taking their magic, their bodies... all of their strength.
He knows yours is a different situation; you would never kill anyone you took magic from, and always try to gain consent before doing so. But the sentient being on sentient being biting can still trigger him on a bad day, and if you were directly biting him Horror fears he may lash out on instinct. Time helps to desensitize him to your feeding habits, but the worry remains.
Eventually, he is able to stay around you as you feed from Dust (on a good day), cuddling you both during the process. Just don't get too wrapped up in the chomping and try to take a bite out of him.
He regrets his inability to let you feed on him after a certain event. Horror feels like he needs to repay you in some way. In any way. So he starts to make vials of his limited magic every month. It isn't much, little more than a snack for when you go out on missions... but the way you smile at him when he hands it to you is too sweet, so he keeps at it.
He tastes like crepes with maple syrup.
Cross first gets bitten that afternoon when he lent you his shower and brushed out your hair. It isn't out of the blue—when he realizes what you are and why you've grown so weak, he chooses to offer his magic to you. He can't really give much, given he's still recovering from his injury, but he wanted to tide you over until Horror returned and they could come up with a proper plan for feeding you.
It's just that... when it happens... he... isn't sure how he feels about it. All you know is that the purple blush stays on his face the entire time you have tea, and he's very nervous to meet your eyes afterwards.
He would eventually realize he really, really likes it.
(He tastes like freshly baked double chocolate brownies...)
Nightmare does not allow it for a very long time. His magic is extremely powerful, and what's more, you are his enemy so long as he is unsure of the depth of your loyalty to Dream.
When eventually he grows closer to you, he begins to consider it. Providing you directly with sustinence would negate the need for Horror to steal blood and magic bags from clinics, and it would save his men's magic reserves for missions.
He remains unsure, however, given the corrupted state of his magic. It is only once you have entered a romantic relationship and expressed the desire that he concedes to a small test trial.
Fortunately for you, the corruption does not remove the benefits of drinking his magic, allowing it to become a common occurance. Nightmare finds the situation almost quaint—the way you curl up in his tentacles while he reads, slowly becoming one with his power.
Obviously, he tastes like apples. Specifically the very sweet kind like fuji and gala apples.
Error is staunchly against it. Not because of the physical touch component (though that is part of it), but because of how unstable his magic is. There's no telling what regularily consuming his glitching magic could do to you, and he's already uncomfortable with you having to consume magic from random universes and lovers that are not from your original AU and potentially incompatible with you.
He goes and gathers info from the occasional vampire AU he comes across and passes it along to Nightmare—if they know what human soul and monster types offer the best blood, or which are actively harmful to you, then you're likely to be safer in the long term.
But he swears Nightmare to secrecy that he had any part in procuring them.
What if MC was a vampire? Would the story change much if they were?
If she was a traditional vampire (that is, a creature that feeds on human blood or at the LEAST mammal blood) she would very likely get sick in the dungeon due to neither Horror nor Cross knowing how to properly feed her. If she managed to make it through, she’d be quite weak, and Horror would need to find a steady source of blood to help her recover.
If she was some kind of vampire that could feed on magic, Cross would be getting chowed down on 🤭😋
Mid-way through goodbye, lara episode 3: Wow, this is great but would really be peak if it was yuri...
Mari then proceeded to say funny idiots were cute, the freaking light of true love flashed across the screen, a fucking giant dagger thing shot out of the lake??????, and Lara made this face while the narration reminded us she needs to find true love:
Hyrule warriors age of imprisonment did a much better job than TOTK at getting me to care about Sonia and Rauru. Obviously they had cute moments in TOTK but here you get to see them in their daily life, they have that cute as heck couples combo attack, and their banter is so adorable (poor Rauru just wants to sneak away for a break).
Then the game makes you play as Rauru, desperately trying to fight his way back to his wife, but you know the whole time that it’s too late…. 😭😭

The “nobody” scene in the odyssey is absolutely not just a clever pun—it’s a character defining moment for Odysseus because he refuses to be nobody. He devised an incredible plan that worked and he could have saved his men and returned home much sooner but he just had to yell to the cyclops that he isn’t nobody—he’s Odysseus, king of Ithaca so now Poseidon knows who to curse which severely fucks up the rest of the journey.
The “nobody” scene highlights both Odysseus’s cleverness but also his arrogance and those two traits define Odysseus throughout the entire story. It’s a foundational aspect of Odysseus’s character and cutting the scene displays a shocking level of ignorance and disregard for the themes in the source material.
Loving all the fmc summer anime rn… currently keeping up with A witch in Mongolia (yay historical drama), Goodbye Lara (little mermaid inspired based on the original darker folktale set in modern day Japan… with 90s (?) style animation), and Though I am an Inept Villainess (you know I’m all about those fantasy imperial China rear palace politics).
Also the soundtrack for goodbye, Lara is so much fun so far. Bonus points for the sister relationships.
Looking for more shows to keep up with tbh. Love that these are short episodes too.
