Now that everyone is discussing Nolan's Odyssey movie, I feel like it's a good time to let non-Italians know that the production dumped plastic props into the Italian sea. Weirdly enough I could not find any article in English about it but it's a fucking problem nonetheless.
I might translate this article later today. This one was the most complete one, even in Italian news it's not talked about that much.
Non è la prima volta che la produzione solleva un vespaio in Sicilia. A Lipari una squadra di sub sarebbe però già impegnata a bonificare i
They dumped plastic skeletons in environmentally protected areas, against the literal contracts they had to sign to get the permits to film in environmentally protected areas. Like they not only did a bad ecological thing that freaked out some divers, they literally broke environmental protection laws and their contract with the Italian government

The aether becomes thick during the gloom, physical in a way that didn't evoke any single aspect. N'ephele felt it dance in his lungs like a too-crisp spring breeze, cut across his skin as if moving through sand. His tail and the loose hair falling from his ponytail frizzed with static, and his fingertips felt the cool rush of a stream. Shivers ran down his spine at the same time that his face felt the sting of a bonfire. He'd learned in his studies that darkness was the true source of it, the force of unrelenting active energy. It connected him to those little joys of being in nature, each going a little too far, twisted into vague annoyances that added up and conflicted into a confusing mess. He should have hated it, the borderline sensory overload, but it never lasted long enough to do any damage. Besides, the sky was simply too pretty to stay locked up in the Rising Stones or a tent. The deep mauve of the horizon fading up to gold, rainbows and glimmers of light cutting through the veil of darkness all called to him. His mom, gifted in aethersight, had told him it reminded her of his soul.
