When Jaz was pregnant with Justine I wanted to have a song to sing to her every night. When she was in the NICU for the first month and half of her life I sang Rainbow Connection to her every single day. I wanted her to remember my voice. I wanted her to know music. To this day I still try and sing it to her everyday. And every time I start singing it to her..she smiles and it brightens up my day. #blessed #kcnq2

Yesterday was an emotional day for me. The company I work for (Protective Life) raised funds all year 2015 for the Ronald McDonald House. Jaz and I stayed with the Ronald McDonald House for 40 days after Justine was born. It costs $85 a day to have a family stay at the house. Yesterday our company donated $8250 to the House along with a bunch of supplies. That amount would have been enough for us to stay twice as long if we needed. I am truly blessed to be a part of a company that whole heartedly supports its employees. Thank you Protective Life and thank you Ronald McDonalds House! You have taught me the true meaning of compassion. (at Protective)
