bored SO here's my character list for my community nbc/tgwdlm au comic
basically the meteor hits greendale and makes it so that they're all kind of in the role of a tgwdlm character and the events of tgwdlm play out as they do in the musical. However, Troy and Britta flip a coin to check out who has to investigate the meteor when it first hits, creating two different timelines (in the fashion of remedial chaos theory), one where Britta goes to see the meteor and it infects/kills her and one where Troy goes and sees the meteor and it infects/kills him
Abed - Paul (he's thrilled to be in the "zombie apocalypse movie" type thing and in such a main role and doesn't realize until nearly everyone has been infected how real the situation truly is
Britta: Emma (in the timeline where she doesn't go investigate the meteor) (she's just very Emma in general)
Troy: Emma (in the timeline where he doesn't investigate the meteor) (his and abeds dynamic is very similar to the episode where greendale gets a zombie infection. they catch on right away and are fully playing into being the "leads")
Jeff: Ted (he's very Ted. He starts as how he is maybe around season 5 where he's a lot less asshole ish and just gets worse and more drunk as it goes on)
Shirley: Charlotte (the religious imagery, the stuff with her husband, etc etc)
Dean Pelton: Hidgens (all of the show stopping number tension happens with him and Jeff here too. Working boys are working dalmations.)
Annie: All of Mariah's parts in tgwdlm (She was supposed to just be in the role of Melissa but she gets infected shortly after and the hive lowk puppeteers her around to be in the role of Greenpeace girl, alice, Doug, etc)
Todd? Or Elroy?: Bill? (I'm still unsure who Bill would be but Todd is like. A father and Elroy is the most normal) (So one of them)
Pierce: Homeless man (not literally Jeff from the future but like. In a metaphorical sense. He's who Jeff fears becoming)
Prof. Hickey: John McNamara
Prof. Slater: Colonel Schaffer
Starburns: PIEP officer with like one line
