What better place to start than with band co-founder and co-leader Neil Kelly? His picks make for an eclectic list, and he offers some interesting anecdotes. This song is like a lullaby for what might have been. It should also be noted that it’s technically not misogynistic to say that PETA pamphlets are for pussies, because for all you know, we’re talking about cats. 3. “Certain Creatures in a Suitcase” (from Intimate)

This is just a little ditty about suitcases and creatures, inspired by the Marx Brothers. 2. “Please Sit on My Face” (from Intimate)

It took a real team effort to pull off this bawdy number, but it became an instant favorite for fans and band members alike. 1. “Shine On Diamond Eyeballs” (from Alternate)

Chapter 6: Ahead of Schedule

The teenagers fell into a steady rhythm over the next three days. Marc and Andy would take the first bathroom shift each morning at 7:45 while Regan brewed a pot of coffee. When the alarm sounded at 8:00, the girls would use the bathroom while Steve went through a nearly naked exercise routine of pushups and situps in the middle of the room, urging Buzz, Andy, and Marc to join him while they ate at the table. At 8:15, the girls sat down for breakfast while Steve showered and Buzz changed into his jumpsuit in a bathroom stall. Everyone was dressed by 8:25, and Andy would diligently load the dishwasher while Chaplin filled seven clear blue plastic canteens with water.
