I created the official AI music visualizer for Hundredth’s “Waste,” building a dark, spectral visual world around glowing lyric fragments, blurred human forms, neon color trails, and abstract dreamlike symbols inspired by 2000s alternative visuals.

Using MidJourney and Hailuo MiniMax, I developed the imagery, generated the motion, and shaped the final piece into a release-ready visualizer with a haunted early-digital music video aesthetic.

Reintroducing The Work of Jar

The Work of Jar is the creative practice of Johann Ramos, also known as Jar. Originally launched in 2017, it began as a home for music and touring work spanning live photography, tour content, video editing, short-form promos, and behind-the-scenes visuals for artists including Muse, Teddy Swims, and half- alive.

That chapter shaped the foundation of Jar’s visual style: fast-moving, artist-focused, and rooted in real moments. Today, the work has expanded into AI-driven visuals, including visualizers, music videos, trailer-style edits, and release campaign content for artists and creative teams.

Based in the Los Angeles area, Johann is currently focused on AI visuals and remains open to select in-person live content opportunities.

The Iconic Bad Suns Jester

I used a reference image of the Jester, provided by the band. Made with MidJourney, final look in DaVinci Resolve. The MidJourney prompt is a re-work of another prompt I found in the Explore tab. I mainly kept the parameter settings.

The profile code in this one worked like magic.

Tip For You:

You learn a lot pulling apart great prompts and making them your own. They're also especially handy if they've got a good '--profile {code}' in there that already nails the look and aesthetic that you're looking for.

It's exactly how I was able to achieve a consistent aesthetic across the streaming visuals.
