Confession time.

On September 11th, 2001, our country suffered a major attack by terrorists and murdered over 3000 Americans.

October of 2001, I tried to convince my best friend to get refrigerator boxes and paint them to look like the twin towers just to go out for Halloween at the bars and party.

"NO FUCKING WAY"

I replied, "Why not? Nobody will attack us."

(Understand, my friend is a shock comedian. He always says controversial shit to get reactions out of people. But this was too far.)

I continued, "nobody would dare knock us down."

He groaned as I continued...

"At the end of the night, the costumes are collapsible."

He wouldn't do it. He had a limit, and I passed it.

It would have been HISTORIC.

There’s nothing else needed!

Make sure to wash and rinse your sauerkraut before slow cooking. At the end, separate some of the broth and slowly add in (lots of)sour cream, then add that all back into the mix.

It’s best with braised pork rather than kielbasa, but they’re both amazing, hearty, and healthy Hungarian classics. There are very few better comfort foods!
