I will forever defend Gale Weathers like my life depends on it because it is genuinely sickening to see so many scream fans whine and bitch about her character while kinning a literal serial killer.

I don't care if she's a selfish news reporter who puts her life and others in danger for views. I don't care that she made fun of Dewey in her stupid book. I don't care that she almost got him killed. You can say whatever you want about Gale and at the end of the day, you are showing favoritism to a man who murdered innocent people because a, he fucking enjoyed it, and b, lack of emotional regulation, which is the case for a majority of the male killers.
