#the beauty of tumblr is that any new show i start i'm able to say oh that's my friend. from gif.
U don’t understand people growing up so you read lots of novels so you can still feel connections to fictional people and to the people who write the novels and maybe you hope you will learn more about how people work from reading all those novels but unfortunately novelists are not usually great at knowing how normal and well-adjusted people work or else they probably wouldn’t be novelists
love my pumpkin
scary my pumpkin
Who wants to see my cat totally brave and not at all scared at the vet
Excellent. Here she is, being super brave:
the fact that "bicurious" is an option on feeld is really funny to me
imagine going on a gay date with someone who has their sexuality listed as "bicurious" and when you get home afterwards you check their profile and discover they've changed it to "straight"
[gripping the sink] perfectionism does not help me avoid embarrassment or shame. perfectionism is in itself a form of shame. when i struggle with perfectionism i struggle with shame. when i struggle with perfectionism i struggle with shame. when i struggle with perfectionism i struggle with shame
oh my god
no matter what your most embarrassing moment in life is, at least it’s not having fucking chat gpt write fanfic for you bc you’re too lazy to do it yourself
cheers to that!
are you loud in bed?

Freakin looking at me
saw a tiktok of a mother taking her very tiny daughter to an art museum and she’s just walking around going “whoooa” “woooaah” to everything but then they got to a marble statue of a nude woman lying on her back and the girl points and goes “mommy🫵” and i just immediately welled up with tears and all the comments are just laughing about it and of course it’s funny but how are you not insanely moved by the way art connects everyone on earth from a centuries-old sculptor to a toddler in 2023

Sometimes I love the internet, actually. Incomprehensibly huge place but also so small. Saw a video on Instagram where Crayola was announcing they’re coming out with a box with some limited edition previously retired colors, including Dandelion. This video had hundreds of comments and almost all of them where “omg where’s the dandelion crayon girl she’s going to be so happy” and it was such an unimportant thing, but it was just cute
The tags on this post are also full of people happy for the dandelion crayon girl 🥹
Update!! Dandelion crayon girl got her promo box!!
Hey. International people.
Keep calling it the Gulf of Mexico or whatever your term is for it. Do not allow the Republican regime to label that body of water the Gulf of America to the world. The name came from a the term Mexica, what the Aztecs called themselves. It’s been called the Gulf of Mexico since the 1600s.
Keep calling it Denali. The original name before it was Mount McKinley. Don’t let the Indigenous Peoples/First Nations be erased.
It may sound stupid and petty. But it is an attempt to rewrite history and make us forget the origins. It is a literal white washing of history. This type of censorship is a beginning to greater evils.
