“The lasting and ultimately most important reputation of a film is not based on reviews, but on what, if anything, people say about it over the years, and on how much affection for it they have.”

How the Male INFJ Came Into Existence
It’s one thing to be an introvert. And it’s another thing to be a male introvert. And then it’s a completely different universe being a male INFJ. It’s like if God was like,
“Hey you know what would be interesting? If we make this male, really sensitive and a great listener, but also keep some of those male traits like his overactive sex drive and competitive streak.”
and then Jesus is like, “Dude, let’s give him some deep rooted empathy that’ll never go away. That way he could really understand everyone and not be able to hate anyone for more than an hour, so that whenever he gets into a fight, he won’t be able to understand why they’re still mad and won’t accept his apology.’
and then the Holy Spirit was like, "Wait… let’s also make him really romantic, but not give him any charm or charisma, because that would be too OP. Let’s also let him dream about love but let him know that the kind of love he dreams about doesn’t exist, and that he’ll never find it in this world."
And bam, the male INFJ came into existence.
Alright that was sort of a tangent/rant/realistic expression of my feelings… really, I just wanted to pose the question of how an introvert like me is supposed to find his extroverted other half when we probably don’t hang out in the same places or have the same interests.[?]

just throwing it back a little.
this weekend was crazy and random and full of good people. i’m feeling alive and going to try my hardest to become whole once again.

I loved this weekend. I love my friends. surround yourself with people who believe in you when we find it hard to believe in yourself... that stand beside you when life shatters a part in your hands... be with people who will just be with you in the mess. somehow, that's everything.
I bet your shoulders can hold more than just the straps of that tiny dress That I’ll help you slide aside when we get home I’ve seen ‘em carry family and the steel drum weight of me Effortless just like that dress that I’ll help off Because I’ve seen you And I know you And I’m not going anywhere I bet your back can carry more than just the weight of your button-down One by one they’ll come undone when we get home I’ve seen you carry family and all my insecurities One by one they come undone when we get home

This is one of the most romantic and sexy songs I’ve ever heard.
You’re the furthest thing from insignificant. I think my favorite thing about Jesus is knowing that He didn’t die because He thought my sin was gross. He died because He thought my redeemed self was worth saving, and the sin just had to get out of the way. We always talk about seeing other people the way God sees them, but I wonder when we’re going to start seeing ourselves the way God sees us. Learning to love yourself is hard and it’s messy, especially because nobody knows our dirty laundry better than ourselves. I’ve spent most of my life and most of my friendships holding my breath and hoping that when people get close enough they won’t leave, and fearing that it’s only a matter of time before they figure me out and go. But I’ve learned that’s no way to live life. All of my life I’ve been waiting. In high school I was just biding my time, waiting for the braces to come off so I could walk into the freedom and adventure I would find in college. From my dorm room, I could see my future self- smarter, more organized and put together, the epitome of a young professional, and so I’ve been waiting and waiting for my life to begin - for me to finally finish books and go to the gym and be the tanned, toned version of myself with beautifully white teeth because that’s when everything will begin. Recently I woke up and realized my life is passing day-by-day, and I’m waiting for it to start. Waiting for that person, or moment or something to burst into my life and then it’ll really begin. But that’s an urban legend. Life is made up of a million, billion, tiny choices and moments. It’s swirling all around us in the form of seemingly mundane, pedestrian moments. It’s all so much less fabulous than the movies, or even a friend’s Instagram or blog. This is it - the thing I’ve been waiting for - normal, daily life. There is nothing more sacred and profound than today. And I’m a cynic with a penchant for sarcasm so this isn’t me trying to see the world through rose colored glasses. It’s me trying to walk forward in life believing what scripture says to be true. You have stories worth telling, memories worth remembering, dreams worth working toward, a body worth feeding, a soul worth tending, and beyond that, the God of the universe dwells within you, the true culmination of super and natural. You are so much more than dust and bones. You are spirit and power and image of God. And you have been given today.

For Tom Hansen this was the night where everything changed. That wall Summer so often hid behind, the wall of distance, of space, of casual, that wall was slowly coming down. For here was Tom, in her world. A place few had been invited to see with their own eyes. And here was Summer, wanting him there. Him. No one else.
one day.
