I was accepted into Butler Community College (BCC), which is a historic Black college (established after the Emancipation Proclamation), for their Certified Paralegal course! My classes are online, and they begin in late July 2024.

I happen to live in Daytona Beach, where Bethune Cookman University (BC-U) is located. BC-U and BCC are affiliated. If you ever watch US College level American Football games, BC-U has the most EPIC band!

Ms. Mary Bethune Cookman was a black woman, daughter of slaves, that were eventually emancipated, and she became very involved in education, as well as a national adviser to Franklin D. Roosevelt.

By August 2025, I will be a certified Paralegal in the US!
