Hi! Welcome to our blog. We're Tom and Niamh. We create ideas together for fanfiction, Niamh writes it, Tom edits it and we pretty much work as a team when it comes to everything. We're best friends, and this just means that it's easier for us to separate our personal blogs from fanfiction questions etc.
Hey! I have a livejournal for my original work :) It’s all basically short stories split into verses. I have quite a bit written but not uploaded, but it will be updated at least once a week, I promise!

Hey, this is Niamh. I'm very sorry to announce this but it looks like I'm taking an indefinite hiatus from fanfiction. I've not had any motivation, especially with Glee because the show is just not that much fun to write about (for me, anyway). I've started working on some original short stories, they mainly focus on LGBT people and their relationships, and I hope you would all read and enjoy them. I'm extremely sorry. Hi! I've just finished reading Get Happy and I loved it! Was just wondering when to expect a possible sequel for it?
Heyyy! :)Glad you enjoyed it! :D Speaking as the editor rather than the writer I'm not sure! We're definitely doing a sequel and we have been planning it for a while. But as me and Niamh are both at our respective unis (Bangor and Manchester) it's been hard to write and edit as we've both had tons of work haha! :)
But yeah, we're deffo gonna do a sequel so watch this space! Glad you enjoyed it again! :)

Kurt Hummel and Blaine Anderson find out that kids can be very invasive - especially if their mother is Rachel Berry.

Kurt had been glancing over his reviews of the job interviews he had taken for the last two weeks, eyes sore and tired, when his phone rung.
"Hello?"
"Kurt-" Ah, Rachel. He'd wondered when he'd next hear from her. "I'm so sorry to ask, but I'm running late at rehearsals ... could you do me a huge favour?"
Kurt smiled. "Pick up Victoria?"
"If it's no trouble!"
"Never," Kurt answered. "Has she got ballet?"
"No, but I should be at home for half four," Rachel said quickly. "I have to go, but Kurt?"
"Hm?" Kurt asked, slightly absentminded as he slid the files into his desk drawer.
"You're the best,"
"Don't I know it," Kurt mumbled with an eye roll. "I'll see you later,"

Even though The Chapin School was a private school, Kurt felt slightly over-dressed. There were mothers and their young daughters bustling around him over the marble floor to get out, probably to get them to their after-school activities. Kurt could only chuckle and shake his head as he saw a six-year-old carrying a violin case.
Nevertheless, he strode over to the reception window, tapping with his knuckle on the glass.
A bored, forty-something woman pulled up the blind from behind the wall.
"Welcome to The Chapin School, what can I help you with today sir?"
Kurt still marveled when people called him sir. "Hi, I was wondering if you could tell me which classroom Victoria Hudson is taught in?"
The woman squinted at him.
"I'm her Uncle," Kurt supplied.
Rolling her eyes, the receptionist tapped in a name to hey keyboard and squinted again at the screen. "She's in room 2C, with Mr Anderson."
Mr Anderson? Since when did this school hire men?
Kurt smiled at the receptionist. "Which direction is that?"
"To the left of the hall, fifth door down."
"Thank you," Kurt said, smiling graciously.
"Happy to help, sir," the receptionist replied, her voice monotone.
Following the directions was easy enough, but it was Victoria's voice that led him to the right door.
"Life's candy and the sun's a ball of butter!"
Kurt laughed openly and knocked on and opened the half-open door.
"Kurt!" A little voice squealed, warning him just a little too late of the bundle that jumped into his arms, little hands clasping onto his neck and her head buried in his shoulder.
Kurt glanced around the room, only seeing a man about his age looking back at him curiously.
"Hey kiddo," Kurt said, smiling into her brown curls. "Wanna go to the park?"
Victoria nodded and pulled back, brown eyes excited and the smattering of freckles on her cheeks more noticeable in the winter months.
"Grab your raincoat and I'll speak to your teacher."
Victoria grinned, and set her feet on the ground, practically dancing to the coat rail.
Kurt smiled awkwardly, glancing around the room again. There were paintings of the sun smiling down at him, ABC posters and the occasionally "thank-you" letter pinned up with thumb-tacks. The tables were sectioned into four groups, each with a Hogwarts house picture sellotaped onto them. In front of him was the teacher, and Kurt took his time to take him in.
He was a little on the short side, with gelled hair, and ... was that a bowtie?
Kurt didn't think he could get more adorable if he tried.
"Hi," Kurt said awkwardly. "I'm Kurt Hummel ... Victoria's Uncle,"
Kurt smiled. "Well, I feel for you, I heard her rendition of Don't Rain On My Parade before I came in," he said with a small laugh.
Mr Anderson's eyebrows rose into his forehead (wait, were they triangles?!). "Don't you sing too?"
Kurt's smile fell slightly. "I ... I used to, not so much any more."
After an awkward pause, Mr Anderson rushed, "I'm sorry, I don't mean to pry at all. I just-with her mother being Rachel Berry I presumed the whole family-"
Kurt shook his head, smiling wide again. "Don't apologise," he said.
Mr Anderson was bright red, and they both spent the next few moments staring awkwardly at their feet, smiling a little and growing redder when they caught each other glancing.
"Kurrrrt, I can't find my coat, I think someone took it."
Kurt turned around, seeing Victoria's lip trembling, eyes wide and head tilted to the side. "It's ok Vic, we'll get you a new one for today, ok?"
Mr Anderson smiled as Victoria nodded. "And then you can show it to me tomorrow Victoria, how does that sound?"
Victoria grinned and ran over to Mr Anderson. "Guess what Mr Anderson?"
"What?" Mr Anderson asked, crouching on his knees to look Victoria straight in the eyes.
"My Uncle is like you," she said clearly, making Kurt's heart stop a little bit.
Kurt cleared his throat and Mr Anderson looked at him with wide eyes.
"Do you wanna explain what you mean Victoria?" Mr Anderson asked, looking back at her, but still glancing at Kurt.
"He likes men too!"
Kurt sighed in exhaustion. "Vic, you can't just go around telling-"
"Why?" Victoria asked, frowning.
Mr Anderson laughed, but Kurt could see his ears were bright red. "I think what your Uncle means to say is, you don't have to tell people, especially when they don't know each other."
Victoria was still frowning. "You do know each other."
Kurt smiled a little tiredly. "Thank you Mr Anderson, I'll take it from here," he said. "Come on Vic, let's get you a coat!"
Victoria's face lit up again and she took Kurt's hand. He pulled out a card from his coat pocket and handed it to Mr Anderson, who was standing up again.
"Just ... in case, someone is late again, give me a ring," Kurt supplied. "I can pretty much always pick her up so I should be free."
Mr Anderson smiled brightly. "I'll um ... ah, I'll keep that in mind."

That night, when he had finally given Rachel her last cheek-kiss, and Victoria had gotten her fifteenth goodbye hug, Kurt couldn't wait until he got into bed, so much that he ended up lying down on the couch, eyes closed and arms splayed.
He sighed when he felt his phone vibrate, knowing that it was probably Rachel, and that Victoria had probably forgotten her bag or something-wait.
Hi Mr Hummel, I was just wondering if you wanted to know each other? For Victoria's sake, of course. - Blaine Anderson.
Kurt laughed out loud to himself, and quickly typed out a reply.
Hi, yes of course, anything for her. And Mr Hummel is my father, call me Kurt.
He waited with bated breath for a reply, trying not to stare at his phone.
Well Kurt, I have reservations for Tony's di Napoli just off Broadway, if you'd like to accompany me this Friday at eight?
Hi. This is Niamh. My usual email address has been hacked into, meaning that I am currently using another one now. Because of this, I've had to create another fan fiction account, which means that Get Happy and other work will be delete from fan fiction. However, me and Tom have both decided that after this new FIC is finished, we want to re-do Get Happy, when we start to write the sequel, thus meaning you will get the experience of reading a better formed piece of writing, and then a sequel will be uploaded soon after. While this may be inconvenient, we would really appreciate as little hate as possible, especially as we've not been around in a while, we're very sorry. The story we're in the middle of writing is in the au of Famous!Klaine (writer!Blaine) and we will have warnings of homophobia and self-blaming, we hope you stick around long enough to read it :)

"I have no idea what you're-"
"Shut up!" Blaine hissed. "You know exactly what I'm talking about. I get it, when I see the way you look at me, and, fuck, the way you look away! I know you're not being honest with yourself and I wasn't either but..."
Kurt narrowed his eyes, his upper lip curling in annoyance. "But what?"
"You're worth it."
It was gentle, murmured into Kurt's ear as Blaine's eyelashes brushed against his hair and his lips scraped the outer shell.
Kurt gulped and turned his face away from Blaine, eyes burning in anger. "Y-you can't just say that Blaine, not to me,"
Blaine took another step closer, his shoulders hunched forward and nothing of his presence showed his usual and casual confidence. "I can," he whispered. "It's true, that's why. I just-" He bowed his head, brushing a hand down Kurt's spine before turning away, ready to leave the apartment. "I just hope I'm worth it for you."
