Sweet Escape @ Minandal

          So it was the end of our ECE 1 last Thursday and our class was dreadful. We had a 10 minutes discussion about logic gates and a surprise quiz strikes us. I was very disappointed coz I didn't got the correct diode equivalent and almost half of the class (I think?) got it. Me and my friends decided to take the depression away by eating. My friend (Rodney) said that we should go to Minandal.           Minandal is one of the famous burger shacks in Mandaluyong. Alongside with its popularity is that I haven't visit it even though I live in Mandaluyong. ( I need to really explore this city LOL) Minandal is located 16 P.Oliveros Street, Barangka Itaas in front of the Iglesia ni Cristo church. Very easy to locate! They are open from 6:00pm-12:00am.

          I'm on a budget so I did take the quarter pounder burger which cost 80.00php. All of us went for the quarter pounder except one who ordered the half pounder. We were very disappointed to see that the half pounder was a double stack of the quarter pounder patty. I did expect that the burger buns and the patty would be bigger. They serve smoothies, pasta, and side dishes like fries also.

French fries on a cup. This one cost us 20.00php per cup.

          We're on a hurry because we still need to review for our quizzes in Management and Calculus. I didn't got to take more pictures of the place. 

My verdict for Minandal (Rating will be from 1-10):

FOOD = 7

-We we're really disappointed with the half pounder but the burger taste fine. The fries was good as well although its cold. I don't like eating them when they got cold.

PLACE/AMBIANCE = 8

-They are still on renovation my friend said. I think they're still not finish with decorating the place. I love what they did on the lights though. It was really hot when we got there. It was pass 6 and summer is really approaching, good thing they had the place ventilated with electric fans.

BUDGET FRIENDLY = 9

-Yes as a student this is a great factor for burger shacks. Considering the price of the food they are very affordable. I would like to taste their pasta as well!

SERVICE = 10

-The staff was very hospitable! When we got there all the seats are taken and we're left to wait for a table to be empty. Unfortunately we got diverted and another pair of costumer got the table first. Our orders are up and we still haven't got a table. The owner (I think?) approaches us and guided us to the corner where another table was placed. He asked how many were we and told us to just move the table so we could fit in. The water was self service but my friend insisted of asking the staff for water. They got us the water in blink of an eye. 

FINAL RATING : 8.5

I recommend to visit the Minandal at 16 P.Oliveros St., Barangka Itaas Mandaluyong City.

They are open from 6:00pm to 12:00am.

Been doing this stuff since last 2 weeks haha and it’s been fun trolling my mates. FEELING OFFICIAL mag ng College namen haha. Well nag apply ako sa publication ng college namen and hanggang ngayon hindi parin nila ako na contact. Siguro may nahanap na silang layout artist. Experience pa naman ang hanap ko when it comes to graphic design. I want a crash course about it. It’s been my hobby na rin kasi na mag edit and layout stuffs. These day since sobrang busy ko na ngayon at college na ako wala na rin akong time para buksang ang Photoshop at Illustrator. Although a great big help dahil nagkaroon ako ng personal laptop since dati computer ang gamit ko ang hindi siya masyadong flexible since di ko siya ma travel hahaha lol sorry. With my laptop kasi I can bring my works to school. One thin I hate lang is hindi siya masyadong maganda since it’s cheap lang naman pero photoshop runs well naman sa kanya. Since newbie pa ako sa mga ganitong bagay and layouting pag tyatyagaan ko muna to bago ako magkaroon nung pang professional. The problem is I don’t know where to find a crash course about these stuffs. Kung pwede nga lang libre lang yung turo tapos papakainin ko na lang yung magtuturo. I really want to study graphic design and illustration huhu. Sana nag multimedia arts nalang ako haha but this quite can help naman since engineering ako. Parang backup ko na rin siya. :)

Don’t you dare look into my face. You’ll squeeze in to my nose like it’s sucking you. LOL So It’s been a while since I last posted here. I’ve been through the weirdest ups and downs this month. It’s really my finals week and today is my rest day (Sunday is a day for myself and God) although I have to finish 3 more plates this week.

Those photos where really taken in my two classes. The first one is in my Electronic Workshop 3 which is Programming. Second trial from our exam and still nobody cracked the code so we decided to shake it all off by taking selfies inside the computer lab. To tell you the truth we did cracked the code last week. We’re like 5 lucky people who did it and 2 are my closest friends. If it we’rent for my friend who coached me after, my code won’t work hahaha.

The second one is from our Physics laboratory. It’s actually the day of the unified college days, a school activity where college departments compete. Well our professor was not their yet like an hour so we got bored. The exciting fact is that after wee took those selfies he walked in right away and I literally panicked and just shut my laptop closed.

I’ll guess this is all for now. Still busy this week, I had 2 of my major final exams finished and a whole lot more to go. Last 2 weeks of classes is a hell bit of a crazy ride. I hope post more typography these days. It’s like my blog was out of the league. Thank you for reading. haha
