He can’t believe in own power.

But he’s continuing bloody battle.

He hasn’t heard his own pain.

His soul was cycle of the rain.

And his intentions are the call,

He opens new way to his goal…

But own wish will never strong.

”How can I not believe myself?

When I defeat them ones again!

The bravest knight,

I win this game,

But I’m not used to work with him.

I’ll be the first,

He’s not my team.

Forget your pity!

I don’t need!

Your own weakness will repeat,

And lonely heart will never beat,

And you will never try predict,

When you will stick in the conflict,

And subtle foes will try to bite,

If you’re not too strong for bleed,

It will a cost of life,

He takes these words into the battle,

These ones are closer to the mantra,

These words remind faith in Gods,

But they’re not too close enough.

How only he will win the game,

If every foe can strong or same?

Sometimes the fighter doesn’t know

How he achieves his own goal.

But he will move in blood and death.

And many people wear “dress”.

Without sloths he fall them down,

But fate of him is his darkness crown,

And own gift his bitter round.

And they will lie

Without sound.

“Your kindness words are worse of trikes,

They make me laugh,

But I’m not six.

You mess with me,

Now. Take your jinx!

You lost my grace,

So left the trace!

You want escape

And loose your scape.”

He’s evil one,

Is it his «will»?

But own goal will be achieved,

He will be strong as mentor be,

And he won’t care what they think.

It doesn’t matter,

Just accept:

He‘ll never change until the end.

But he’s the leader of his group,

And he’s a fighter of this gloom.

And name of him they will repeat:

The hardest one,

Which isn’t treat.

(I wrote this Akutagawa poem over a year ago, but it took me another six months to adapt it into English because of my busy schedule. English isn't my native language, but I put my heart into picking the right words to stay as true to the original as possible. I really hope you like it!)
