@jojos-bizarre-spencer
Tuesday the 17th is the only day(s) to reblog this.
interrupting my normal meme night posting to bring some very important news.
on Wednesday, a feminist/pro-choice group marched on the streets of Mexico, vandalizing churches and basically being aggressive.
unfortunately in Guadalajara, these women attacked catholic women and men who assisted to pray and defend the churches, they did so with sulphuric acid leaving a lot of people wounded, they also crushed a baseball bat on a man who tried to take away the acid, from what i know he's now in the hospital.
it would be very nice if you could offer even a small prayer for the people who got hurt and for the offenses committed on this day.
Praying for them and so proud of their courage. Live your faith! Protect it!
Viva Cristo Rey!
Anyone have a link to this? I can't find anything about this when I search, but this is something I'd expect to get zero coverage from the American media.
hi! probably the american media wont have anything about but there are some links in spanish about it.
this one covers the protests of guadalajara and colombia:
Así han sido los ataques contra la Iglesia en México y Colombia por el "Día de Acción Global por un aborto legal y seguro".
and these are photos from the incident:
Thanks for the links! <3
you dont just Have sulfuric acid. that's not something you bring with you unless you already planned to attack people.

Also, like, there is a ton of problems here that couldn’t just be solved with feminism.
And holy balls, people talking about, “N-no women can’t be oppressors!!!” while my country have it’s own Margaret Thatcher and have many conservative regions ruled by women who are anti liberals.
Women can’t be oppressors
*looks at who accused any black of breathing at their direction of rape*
*looks at who pushed the anti-natural hairs laws*
*looks at who funded abortion clinics with the main intention of eugenics against black people*
*looks at the homeless LGBT and single motherhood rates*
Uh-huh women sure can’t participate in oppression.
this is absolutely the best thing i have read all day
alright i get it, timeline, you think that lady from resident evil is hot, you wanna touch some undead tiddies or whatever, can we move on yet
Oh, so now the starter of the Bowsette trend is gonna preach to us?
Gotta say, the trend of “Politicians play video games” AOC began started off strong, but it really should have stopped when Mitch McConnell started getting into Doki Doki Literature Club.

Humans are naturally programmed to do many things, from working in groups, forming hierarchies, pattern recognition ect ect, this is because humans are animals that are programmed by their DNA and group experiences, but humans are also unique in the fact that we can fight and repress our natural urges and instincts, ie. programming, and change.
I don't see how accepting that we are products of evolution and environment is a white thing.
Some dudes use "humans have this natural urge" to justify pretty much whatever they do and/or to argue that people should act in a certain way (that benefits the dudes in question). Usually, these dudes are white.
Alright, so you’re saying predominately white guys acknowledge evolutionary science, gotcha.
Nope. For example: evolutionary science acknowledges that "it's a natural urge" and "it's morally right" are two separate things. Those dudes often argue that certain behaviors are morally right because they're natural urges.
Ergo: those dudes don't actually acknowledge evolutionary science. They just say shit, and then slap an "evolutionary science" label on it. It's basically false advertising - like the guy who claimed that his "real scientific study" proved that vaccines causes autism.
The post isn’t arguing morals, it’s arguing natural programming, instincts and urges brought on by DNA and Environment, and no, most who argue that certain behaviors are evolutionary aren't arguing the morals, they are arguing the nature.
I would thank you to not project.
Nope. By experience, white people who love talking about how humans are "naturally programmed to do X" are often dishonest. Arguing that something is moral because "it's a natural urge" is just one example of dishonesty.
Other ones include: falsely claiming that X is a natural urge; trying to justify your own willing decisions by claiming "But humans are naturally programmed to do what I did! It was instinct!"; claiming that certain racial groups are "naturally programmed" to be criminals; and more.
It's not projecting, it's simple pattern recognition.
Oh, anecdotes, great.
One anecdote is an anecdote, two are a coincidence, three a clue, and four thousands a fact. Don't be a smartass with me, little one.
Anecdotal evidence is evidence from anecdotes: evidence collected in a casual or informal manner and relying heavily or entirely on personal testimony. Anecdotal evidence, however, does not qualify as scientific evidence, because its nature prevents it from being investigated by the scientific method.
Don’t act smart with me, child.
Nope; you can sistematically and scientifically collect anecdotes. And in the field of sociology - like checking what people claim to believe, or what claims they use to justify their own actions - you HAVE to rely on personal testimony. People who claim that you can't use personal testimonies don't know what sociology even is, let alone how it works.
Again: don't be a smartass with me, little one. I was already old when "smart" was a new word.
I ain't talking Sociology, I am talking sciences, I don't care about claims, beliefs, or your asinine assumptions, I care about the actual sciences and no, no one uses evolutionary science to justify morals, they use it to explain actions taken.
Again, not to justify, but to explain why something occurs, for example why do humans display in group vs out group preferences? Evolutionary factors, which are evident in most primates and mammals, it's a quirk of evolution and circumstance, one group prefers those like it because it's evolutionarily advantageous for the propagation of genes or culture, this isn't a justification, it's an explanation.
No, you don't have to rely on personal testimony, in science you rely on the scientific process, I don't care about sociology or any other of the soft pseudosciences. And yes I know evolutionary psychology and biology are soft sciences.
Also, your age doesn't make you smart, but good to know you're over 700 years old, seeing as the word smart is late old english, smeart, c 1300 CE.
Child.
I can think of basically zero times where the “humans have a natural urge to do [x]” argument wasn’t in fiction and where it wasn’t disputed by pretty much everyone. The Purge, anybody?
Anecdotal evidence there? Yes, but its about as valid as Aridara’s.
Ari is, and always has been, a prime example of delusional thinking.
Quite simply put, he’s come to a set of conclusions that are only viable if you deny that any other possible set of answers could ever apply.
This is very visible when he’s confronted over what he THINKS the motivations of his political ‘opposition’ are. He goes to great lengths to explain that the people who disagree with him think the exact same things he does, only they don’t actually CARE about those things. As opposed to reality, where people tend to think he’s just full of shit and don’t even accept his base premises.
But I would not be surprised if he now comes out to claim he’s some form of immortal vampire, that suits his kind of delusional psycopathy.
See I read shit like this and I can’t help but think to myself that Ari is just a shitposter. Like this reads like a Smith post. They’re either just a different variant of Smith or a fucking shitposter.
He’s blocked me long ago, and once tried to bait me into an argument, so I doubt he’s trolling. I think he’s an egotist who needs to ‘win’.
What completely normal and rational thought did you express to be blocked by that nutter because I think I’d like to express that same opinion for my own benefit.
I think it was when I kept saying he endorsed death threats against someone’s family for disagreeing with his pro-censorship views.
I can’t remember if that was before or after he realized I had it archived.
He isn’t the first smug ideologue who’s put me on ignore because I kept spanking him, and I doubt he’ll be the last.
