I'm feeling a little better to talk about Pippin's death. He was a puppy cat found by the children who my sister teaches. They said he was found in the streets in the middle of trash. Others teachers tried to take care of him, but nobody could stay with him.

One of the teachers had provide the first treatments with the vet, but she couldn't keep him in her house because she had other old cats and they weren't get along well with Pippin. So my sister had decided to adopt him.

He was very lovely and obedient. We had no idea that he could be that much sick, but we did know that something like this could happen, considering his story. His last moments with us passed so fast as much as the way his symptoms came. We did contact a vet at 3:30 AM, but the way he got worse was really fast that we couldn't save him in time.

He died in my hands and it really hit me hard. But as the teacher told to my sister, I choose believing: at least he could find love and care in his very short life.

That's the very short story about Pippin, the first. I say the first because maybe in the future we can adopt another one 🙂.

Booklist - 10th day: A book that I never get over - "The Girl Who Stole Books" by Markus Zusak.

Why? Read it, and find out.

In summary, this narrative shows how life can be unfair, and sad, and lovely, and mercy. It reminds me that we do have a lot of things to be grateful about.

I read it twice. I would read it again. And I'm absolutely sure I would cry again and again.

If you still think war can be the answer for something, read this book and see if you still have a heart.
