It was very unusual for him to be alone at this hour. Awake, no, it was as common as ever for him to be awake this late but to be alone... It was worrisome. JongIn had just come from a night out, and a very hardcore one. He needed no rest, but he was going home. He had things to take care of, and for someone who never takes anything seriously that means he has some pretty serious shit to do. His holy body ached, but it was a familiar, welcoming one. It was hard to walk but he had to leave. He was late for something he hadn’t told anyone else he was late for... Because nobody else knew about it. His past was as mysterious to others as his own parenthood was for himself.
The long, dark, street welcomed him since it was a such a familiar one. His eyes covered the hole of it as if he saw it for the first time even when it must’ve been the hundredth. This one one of JongIn’s few reoccurring lovers, and the closest he had ever gotten to an actual relationship. The rest of the street was not as well lit as the very beginning of it, where he had been a few steps ago. He wasn’t cold, but the mood of the night seemed to be that way. Why in hell was he doing outside at 4 a.m. anyway? Couldn’t he just have slept in JaeSoo’s house? No, he mustn't think that way. His mother was what mattered at that moment therefore nothing he could think of, no commodities and no excuses, they couldn't distract him.
Oh, but I was having so much fun... It’s hard for a lust demon to walk out of an orgy. He himself couldn't believe it, his humanly features preventing him of sinning. It was unheard of. Love and family and all that jazz, maybe it wasn’t for him. And indeed, fate got it’s own way of taking that all away from him, in several different devilish ways. Born without a father, being taken his aunt and cousin away (although he was much sadder for his cousin then for his crazy aunt), and by far the one that reminded him the most of having a functioning, beating heart and how it would feel to have it broken was the cruel way that on the same day as the current night, she was stolen by a snake, a cow, oh how many names he could call that vicious woman... He was starting to wonder too much in his thoughts.
As he went along, the street was becoming darker and darker... Darker then he remembered. He was a demon, he could sense trouble when it came to him since it was so customary. His lifeless eyes searched the street for any anomalies but it was perfectly calm... Perfectly quiet... Too quiet, almost. Were there any other passer-by’s? He didn’t have the time to answer the question. He heard a loud noise and quickly dunked to the nearest hide-out place he could find.
Then, silence fell once again. There was a sensation running though his spine that this wouldn’t end well, that his fate would be met in blood and darkness and that the hunters would send him once again to where he belonged; hell. He wasn’t a fighter, JongIn would fuck a thief before harming them. What was he to do, then, since he always had someone to help him. He was, indeed, alone this time.
