Hey everyone, I know I don’t post much, but this is really important to me. My best friend, @latiyes has a dog and she isn’t doing too hot. Her name is Nahla and she’s literally the sweetest baby ever. My best friend posted on her GOFUNDME campaign and this is her story:
“On Feb. 7, 2018, I brought my dog Nahla into our local vet after noticing some extreme changes in her behavior. She was lethargic, wasn’t eating, had rapid breathing, and yellowing (jaundice) of her skin and eyes
Upon further testing, we were told Nahla had autoimmune hemolytic anemia (a condition in which her body is attacking its own red blood cells) and enlargement of her spleen. This is likely due to her epilepsy meds (Nahla has a history of seizures and takes meds 2x daily). She is very sick and will need emergency care – round-the-clock monitoring, medications, diagnostic testing, and a blood and plasma transfusion. She will have to stay in the hospital for 2-6 days
As you can imagine, this process will not be cheap. All in all, we will have to pay around $8,400 (the price was recently raised from the original $6,000 since her stay has been extended). Though I wish I had the extra money, this was an unexpected event that took our family by surprise, and unfortunately I was not prepared for a bill of this amount. I work only part-time as I go to nursing school full time, and I hate to ask for help, but I’m struggling to find the money to take care of my girl and to put it bluntly, I’m desperate
My dog is my entire world. She has so much life ahead of her, and I want to do everything in my power to give her the care I know she deserves. She has given so much of her life and love for me and my family. If you are able to donate, and feel it in your heart to do so, please know I am extremely grateful. If you are not able to donate, even sharing this post would help us immensely.”
They’ve been visiting her every day at the vet and she sends me snaps of how Nahla’s doing. Spreading this campaign around, donating to it, or a mixture of both would be so helpful right now. They need to meet their target by Tuesday, 2/13/2018 or else Nahla will be taken off of the necessary medication that is helping her with her autoimmune hemolytic anemia. My friend works part-time as a CNA and is also paying for her own schooling; her family is trying their best to help, but even then, the price for Nahla’s treatment is very high.
Nahla’s got a full life ahead of her and she’s fighting to survive, getting better little by little as the days go by! She’s got that fight in her. So, #LetsHelpNahla and spread this around! She’s a sweet dog who’s friendly, playful, and energetic. She’s got a wonderful personality and is my best friend’s entire world.
Here is her campaign; please help!

hi everyone this jannah / anny! this was really embarrassing for me to make a post about, like some of you already know about my situation w/ my mum already, but i don’t feel comfortable explaining that
@ everyone reading this: please if you have enough to send, can you send me ( and my sisters ) cash? i barely have enough for them, let alone myself. i’m currently using the money that we have rn to feed them, and i’m only eating once a day… like i’m trying to spend money on cheaper foods at supermarkets but it’s not enough. my dad’s not even trying to help us out, and i’m literally losing weight like crazy
i’m currently working overtime but we don’t get paid until the end of next month, which really doesn’t help me right now. so, if you can donate even £5 i would really appreciate it. everything rn is going towards food for my sisters / their lunch money
so, like any amount of money you send would be appreciated. i just want to make it easier for myself because rn i don’t have energy. i’m not used to a diet for just toast, microchips and water
paypal: [email protected]
even if you can’t donate, if u can reblog that would be great 💕
Life is good
It’s like millennials do not understand that middle east has been at war for 1000′s of years. That we intervened on behalf of Kuwait. That without “bombing” people that want to kill and oppress others, millions will be murdered and tortured.
“at war for 1000′s of years”
you clearly know nothing about Afghanistan nor the middle east
here’s Afghanistan in the 1950′s, 60′s, & 70′s
if you really want to know what caused all the instability & growth of extremist groups I suggest you take a look at the US foreign policy towards Afghanistan during the 80′s
It’s interesting to note that when the communist government came to power in Afghanistan in the late 70′s, one of the first things they did was declare equality of the sexes, made education for girls mandatory, & banned child marriages. The conservative tribal leaders who the US armed & funded (& who later became the Taliban) declared this to be a “war on Islam” & fought against the central government.
The US had no problem back then with encouraging the growth of Islamic conservatism to counter socialism/communism. You created your biggest enemy & you have no one to blame but yourselves.
BLESS THIS POST
its crazy to me how the US talks about war in the middle east as if its this ancient problem inherent to the area instead of a recent problem created by western countries to further their own interests.

the CIA took out the democratically elected leader of Iran in the 1970s over oil and that set off an entire chain of events leading to ISIS, here’s more about multiple other countries we’ve fucked over
…Um… ….. .. …. if you’re referring to the overthrow of Prime Minister Mohammad Mossadegh through operation Ajax that happened in 1953 not in the 1970s… through the orchestrated coup, mossadegh was overthrown and the corrupt puppet dictator Reza Pahlavi was reinstated, which instigated the Islamic/Iranian revolution of 1979 where ayatollah Khomeini made himself supreme ruler of Iran and established the Islamic republic……..
Also the bush administration’s funding and arming of mujahideen in Iraq to overthrow saddam Hussein is what led to the creation of ISIS… not operation Ajax..
Please keep Iran and Pakistan in your prayers, last night / yesterday morning (PST) there were terror attacks in Iran’s capital at the Ayatollah Khomeini mausoleum (which is near the largest graveyard in the capitol, where people go and pay respects en masse every day) and on a shrine, killing at least 88 people, in a city in Pakistan 2 days after a rally in Lahore. Not only that, please keep Afghanistan in your prayers too, bc there have been a succession of attacks on the lives of the innocents there and the death toll keeps rising. Please please please read about these attacks because my people, my family, and my friends and their families are not getting the traction, the hash tag, the movements that follow in the wake of these horrific attacks. Just because we’re not western doesn’t mean we should be ignored. My heart is hurting and I just want people to know that we’re suffering too.
I'M HERE!!!! Ahhhh spring break is next week; I'm so juiced !!!
