JooJoo! You finally caught up! You took your time didn’t you? you took your time…for 12 whole days in fact…

I hope you like your gifts! I know how I like snacking and when we first met you were so busy stuffing your face eating, so I figured you would enjoy snacks too! I’m sorry I couldn’t do more right now since i’m studying hard for my midterm exams…but maybe after they’re completed we can go somewhere and hang out! It’ll be fun!

The amused smile on Hwan’s face dropped at Minjoon’s sudden exclamation. Hwan blinked widely in when Minjoon tapped him. What he had to say next had to have been very important, especially since the other lowered his voice. Hwan’s expression had become entirely serious, eyebrows perked high and listening attentively with a lean. Only for seconds later to let out an elated laugh, holding his stomach to balance himself. “Stoppp! Don’t be so rude! You know she only has seven other options to pick from… Her costume beats any one who thinks they have a good costume this year! It’s so good she’s making us see it twice!” He laughed still, shaking his head.

“I’m not being rude!” Minjoon found himself laughing along with Hwan’s reaction. “I think she’s beautiful no matter what she looks like and I’m happy she chose this one. She made it a special occasion to make sure everyone saw! It is absolutely the best. For Halloween this year I’m just being devilishly handsome but that’s not much different than any other day really. I do have my skeleton socks and onesie for my Halloween movie night ready though.” Joonie smiled fondly before turning his attention back up to the sky. “Anyway, back onto the topic of out of this world beauty, wheres this picture of my face I was promised? More specifically, the drawing with that picnic in it.”

“Neeehh, they’re calling this next full moon phase a “blue” moon, but I have to share the disappointment that it won’t really be blue…” Hwan shakes his head, body swaying as he continues. “It’s only called that because its a rare occasion when there is more than one full moon that occurs during a month. It’s also the only time we’ll have a double moon on the lunar calendar this year! How nice, eeh? For the moon to feel so sure of herself that she spoils us with her beauty twice in one month. Maybe she’s leading by example so that we all carry that same confidence with us into the rest of the seasons to come…”

“I spoil the town with my face on a daily basis. It’s not about wanting us to feel more confident, she just loves the spoopy season and wants to join in. Oh my god..” Minjoon’s voice dropped to an almost whisper, fondness in it as he tapped Hwan’s arm in his excitement to make sure he had his attention. “What if she’s just decided to come as a full moon for Halloween this year? It’s her costume!”

“I’m really torn between the witch or the devil.” Yes, she was buying matching costumes for herself, and her cat. Clearly she didn’t think it was weird by the way she was holding up a witches at and then the horns. Swapping them back and forth as if that would help her make the decision quicker. “Oh! If we do witches I can give duckie the little hat, and a cape and i can have the broomstick and maybe like a spellbook or something. But If we do the devil I can have the horns and a cape, and he can little bat wings and a cape. Either way he’s getting a cape so it’s a win win honestly.”

“Are you really set on choosing between those two?” Joonie tilted his head as he looked between the horns and the hat. “There’s so many other cute outfits. Have you seen the videos online of the ones where you put the front paws in to make it look like feet and then they have little stuffed arms on them so it looks like a little person standing up right? I love those. You can get little doctors ones! Or you could be a vampire and give him little bat wings! Awww.” His lips formed a pout as he thought about it fondly. “If you’re set on those two though, definitely the witch. That would be so cute.”

“You know I’ve never been a napper to be honest. I’ve tried I really have but I always wake up with a gross taste in my mouth and feel sick to my stomach. Can I just lay in bed, roll over a couple times and then get out of bed?”

“It’s hard to find the right balance of knowing how long to nap for and being able to time it with an alarm if you need to. It’s hard because you need to account for the time it will take you to fall asleep too but I think I’ve got it down pretty well. You can roll around in bed if that helps though! Or maybe we can try and figure out what’s got you feeling so not great?”

“You have to wear whatever is the most comfiest of your pjs, it’s like the rule of sleepovers. I have my unicorn onesie because it’s super fluffy on the inside. And the WALL-E kind of wholesome where the babie just wants to take care of a little plant, I don’t know what 7th Heaven is but if you’d rather be kidnapped than watch it, I don’t think I want to know.”

Chandler almost always used the self-checkout at grocery stores. Despite his enjoyment of parties and hanging out with people, he wasn’t naturally a social creature, and he hated small talk with cashiers. However, this particular store was locally owned and didn’t have any machines he could deal with place of an employee. And he had apparently chosen a very popular time to shop, as the lines had all merged into one, snaking down into the nearby deli section of the store. “Holy shit, is this really the end of the line?” He asked the person in front of him.

Joonie moved the things in his basket as he glanced between them and his list, double checking he hadn’t missed anything until a voice pulled him from his task. “I hope so, otherwise I’ve been aimlessly following the poor guy in front of me for an uncomfortably long time.”

Minjoon looked up from his notebook at the slap against the bar, the corner of his mouth curling up in amusement before his expression became confused. “...but you need more than two people for that? Unless it’s a polyamorous date, then it makes more sense.. Though if you’re all friends, I guess it’s kind of a I’d like to spend more time with you even in this capacity which is kinda sweet.. Or maybe they’re just too nervous about being alone with you and think they might not be able to keep a conversation flowing so it’s more of a conversation piece than the actual date setting. They can make their little character flirt with yours and say the things they’re too shy to. Aww, that’s actually kind of cute.”
