@joppin
i didn’t do much today …
torture that beautiful brunette man a little more. YEAHHHHHHH.
I think dudes who say shit like “I couldn’t love a child that wasn’t mine” shouldn’t have kids
“I could never be a stepdad because I could never love another man’s child” another man’s child? not your hypothetical wife’s child? you look at a kid and see another man’s fuck trophy instead of seeing a human being? I’m not sure you could successfully be a parent to your own biological child

Peanuts sketches!
In my Charlie Brown era I guess lol
One is a convicted criminal that wants to institute a dictatorship “on day one only” (with majority support from his party!), would give a greenlight to Project 2025, use a weakened Schedule F to install THOUSANDS of cronies, was just given immunity for “official acts” (what counts as “official”? whatever his Project 2025-instituted judges want, of course), wants to institute military tribunals for his enemies (and allies!), will 100% support Russia in wiping Ukraine off the map, will use the combo of the removal of the Chevron deference/the Supreme Court allowing people to openly bribe them/Schedule F to extend the far-right’s reach into every government agency and deregulate everything to the benefit of his rich capitalist buddies, has already taken away so many freedoms from racial minorities/queer people/women/anyone-that-isn’t-a-rich-white-man that it would take hours to list them all in this post, and so so so so SO MUCH MORE.
The other is Joe Biden.
Remember also, you’re not just choosing a president, you’re choosing his cabinet, potential Supreme Court justices, federal employees as well. With Project 2025 ALONE, Trump would do so much more damage than just what he can do himself. That’s not including everything else his Federalist Society Supreme Court would and have given him on a silver platter.
Project 2025 really deserves a part to itself just to list some of what it includes: complete abortion/contraceptive ban (no exceptions), destroying worker’s unions and protections, remove Social Security/Medicare/Affordable Care Act, eliminate the ENTIRE DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION, end civil rights protections in government, ban teaching the history of slavery, remove climate protections while gutting the EPA, end equal marriage and enforce the “traditional family ideal”, use the military to gun down protests, mass deportation of legal immigrants (especially Muslims), ending birthright citizenship, pack the lower courts, and plenty more. The far-right wasn’t able to take full advantage of Trump’s presidency the first time since it was so unexpected. They’re preparing so that they won’t make the same mistake again. THERE ARE OVER 900 PAGES OF POLICIES AND PLANS THAT THEY ABSOLUTELY WILL IMPLEMENT IF THEY WIN. READ IT.
Not to mention, if you care about Palestine (like I do, a lot), Trump would be MUCH WORSE for Palestine than Biden, supporting Bibi going “from the river to the sea” and already cut off millions in aid to Palestine in 2018 (which Biden reversed!). If you support a free Palestine and don’t vote blue, you have categorically hurt them more than if you did. There is no quick and bloodless peace deal that both Palestine and Israel would ever agree to. The road to an end of the Palestine-Israel conflict is going to be long and difficult, probably decades of dedicated de-radicalization in both states, and will involve far more than one person’s decisions in the end. Unless Trump takes power, and avoids all that by sending enough bombs to turn the Gaza Strip into dust.
There are a few reasons you would choose to vote third party in a FPTP system (support ranked choice voting btw) or not vote “in protest” while ignoring all the state and local elections that affect your area more than the president. Either that you’re privileged enough to not be affected by what Trump would bring, you’re ignorant of the consequences, or you care more about doing nothing perfectly rather than doing something, anything that isn’t 100% ideologically “pure” to fight against the far-right fascist movement.
Every voter that still supports Trump is energized by every cruelty he enacts, while thousands of Democrats care more about purity tests and manifesting socialist revolution tulpas than avoiding a fascist dictatorship.
Have a brain, touch grass, and vote blue all the way down that fucking ballot.
New Devocore from young ass weirdos
Jokes aside it’s actually so scary seeing the tireless propaganda machine at play to paint Trump as this valiant war hero who withstood being shot at and who will now serve as this larger than life figure to get batshit people’s votes……… like I actually am so wary of this election cycle & what it means not only for usamericans but also for the people suffering overseas as a direct result of America’s desire to continue happily funding genocide
This all comes hot on the heels of the US shipping 500 pound bombs to Israel, Microsoft banning Palestinians who live abroad from contacting their families in Gaza, and the US sanctioning even more illegal Israeli settlements in the West Bank (bc it has decided it has the legal authority to do that). I am also terrified of what this means for pro Palestine movements here in the US. Things have already been fucking devastating, but now is the time to be more vocal than ever because we’re only in July and all this is already unfolding
most staged shit ive ever seen in my life fr
Let today be a reminder of why you go practice at the fucking range first
Real talk. It's been 9 months since I've seen Palestinian children bleeding to death every day of the week. I don't particularly seek it out, I don't revel in it, if I'm being fully honest, every time I see it cross my dash I feel the urge to close my eyes and keep it out of my mind. Just the description of what I've seen is too gory to write without my stomach churning. And I think I'm not alone in having seen that. I know some among you have seen worse. I know that even those of you who have not seen the worst of it have seen things that will haunt you for a lifetime.
Of course the right, US as well as international, will mobilize like crazy over this grazed ear and those two droplets of blood. But if we on the left are not motivated, are not radicalized, are not incensed to act decisively after having seen this. And the fascists wackos are more motivated with these remarkably clean images of violence. Then we are doing something wrong.
The moral high ground, the revulsion at blood, at crass disregard for human dignity, at targetting the innocent is on our side. And acting like this will galvanize our enemies while we'll stand helpless is baby shit. We must use every means at our disposal to stop the violence in Palestine and defeat the fascism that around the world makes cover for genocide. This is not a moment to fall to the ground and cry, this is a moment to fight for those who need it most.
tumblr are you telling me something
Very well. I shall find them, and save this kingdom.
Ganalf...
personally if I saw a bi woman at pride with her cishet boyfriend I would be very happy to see that she has someone that loves and supports her given that 61% of bisexual women have experienced some form of intimate partner violence
I don't have to imagine. That's why we have statistics. Someone in the reblogs of this post found the lifetime stats (this post was originally based on reported experience via survey) which shows that while 55% of straight women will experience IPV, that number jumps to 83% for bisexual women.
Instead of assuming that proximity to men is the determining factor of abuse, do some research. It is important to ask why bisexual women face much higher rates of abuse. Heterosexuality is the norm, and normative behavior is rewarded, not punished. This, like all forms of oppression, is about power and control.
Bisexual-identifying individuals appear to be at increased risk of experiencing intimate partner violence (IPV) compared to people of other
The latest rates in the US, according to the Department of Justice, show that bisexuals experience violent victimization of all kinds at the highest rates by sexual orientation.
These are absolutely horrific rates of violence. If a bi woman is comfortable bringing her cishet boyfriend to Pride, that's wonderful. Contributing to (bi)misogyny and general biphobia gets bi women harmed and killed.
