Poor Choices
This is a start of a long term project/social experiment where I photograph homeless people of Pittsburgh next to what appears to be a well established man who is not affected by the situation. This is intended to reflect the average human’s reaction to homeless people. This also portrays that the differences between the two are only their appearance and reflected social status. The well dressed man is seen on his phone because this is often used as an outlet to distract themselves from what they might think is an awkward encounter. This should bring the audience to question what they can do to better the situation for the homeless.

Subconscious
These double exposed self portraits are overlaid with long exposure light shots of various signs, moving cars, street art and people. The long exposure lights represent how and why my subconscious thoughts matter in correlation to my art work. The red lights are the dangerous and often suppressed memories/thoughts. As the colors move from red to orange to blue to purple the thoughts and emotions are changing and moving into the bright white lights; these white lights are the newly born creative ideas that have stemmed from the previous harmful subconscious reflections.
