FROM NEW YORK CITY TO GUADELOUPE

Hello fellow tumblr-ites! :) Happy Hump Day! 

I have recently received a really tremendous opportunity to be a part of my first international art fair and solo show in Guadeloupe, a Parisian island in the Caribbean! It was a pleasant and surprise and with your help I will be able to continue my dream! 

I am a New York based artist working out of Long Island City, making abstract work, using tools of my own design. 

I am self taught, having assisted, worked with, and collaborated with multiple talented artists currently in the profession. 

I have hit the ground running since the beginning of this year and I'm hoping to keep the momentum going. 

I know not all of you are able to contribute, however, just spreading the word and letting people know will be just as much of a great help! :) 

For those of you willing and able to contribute, there are some really awesome perks that come with that. All of them are original pieces of art by myself.

I was very recently given the opportunity to do something I never thought i'd be able to do this year. I am invited to Guadeloupe, to present in an art fair as well as a solo show following. I've saved every penny I could muster for this trip but I still need your help.

TBT : MISFITS!!!! This was after the misfits concert I saw on Halloween back in 2001 at The World (remember that spot?) . After the show I got to meet each band member and jerry only was awesome enough to take this shot with me, after the photo was taken he spent a good couple of minutes talking to me about what i was into which was such a cool thing for me then, followed by a traditional blood wrenching headlock! I also got to meet Dez Cadena from black flag and Marky Ramon from you know who :)! They were the new misfits at the time which was quite the Allstar band.
