I know. Kinda sucks to be the only one she won’t rebuff, though. It’s a pretty thankless job, if you ask me about it.

I'm almost sorry for you, but then I remember she'd be worse if she didn't have you to cool her down every now and then. Its not so thankless after all since we're all pretty grateful for your sacrifice.

He’s a friend I made recently. A guy from Miller. I invited him to spend part of the summer traveling with me.

I know we’ll get past this, but I still feel bad. I’ve never liked arguing with her, y’know? She keeps telling me I’m the only one she can trust, and here I am making her feel horrible… Doesn’t feel right.
