Sketches using traditional paintings as a base. I did about 50 small watercolors and 75+ Gelli prints this year so far. I finally scanned in those textures and paintings for other uses So I'm playing around with using the backgrounds to make combined work that feels more tangible to me. I'm working on some other ones but these ones feel like their going on the right direction.

I started this on Tuesday when I went to drink and draw and finished it the day after I think. I've been focusing on being social again and trying to leave the home but I'm also really stressed out by it. I don't enjoy the way I navigate the world to be honest. I do really enjoy the people in it though. I got to look at a lot of really great comic drawings yesterday and tiny artwork prep which is always very motivating.

This piece started off as a scribble I really was not so sure about and turned out being a piece I was extremely happy with.

I wanted to challenge myself to make more items with a real goal of completion in mind. This week finishing this coloring sheet set and set of six monsters was one of my goals. The process was super fun, I got to talk to some people about the drawing process an art in general which is always a blast for me. This month I've done a gallery show, a kids art workshop, and prepped some new books for a zine event. I got a bit overwhelmed but this is good progress. I'm trying to think of better ways I can work so I can progress here while keeping up at my current day job. I also want to do more work focused on portraits this coming year. Cheers, lets see how many plates I can balance.

Goals: Finished medusa this weekend

Painted Grounds for group project (Grounds were too soft to paint on, this might be a purely paper craft item.)

Organize 6 Class projects(Comics,Jelly Prints, Paper Crafts, Acrylic Paint, Character Creation, waterscape shark )
