More than anything, I want you to be happy. But I've realized I'm not the one who can bring you real happiness. It's time for you to accept that fact as well. Maybe I can't comprehend the extent of your "pain", but you don't of mine either.  This frustrates me and irritates me more than it should, but I refuse to apologize for being unable to feel how you want me to. Don't I deserve the freedom to make my own decisions, without having you making me feel guilty or uncomfortable in doing so? I am, however, genuinely sorry that I'm causing you to feel the way you feel. I don't know what else to say other than shower you with my sincerest of apologizes for that. When will that ever be enough?

My real Prom! Unfortunately, I have no pictures or videos to remember from that night since my cell phone screen shattered and I couldn't find the charger for my camera. Regardless, it was a better night than I expected. Yay, soon-to-be-graduates of '11!
