It was a beautiful Sunday morning and I had planned on keeping with my Sunday routine of meditating, cleaning, etc. Since so much of my life now has no certainty or routine I crave the comfort zone if this one weekly routine. But it was sunny and I found myself watching the clouds and the sunlight sparkling on the lake. I decided to just run out and fill up my tank at the gas station in town. While there, I spontaneously asked the gentleman on the other side of the pump where he would take a Sunday drive. He immediately said he and his wife would always do that… Just randomly drive and explore. He then said he had lost her two years ago. He said on a beautiful day like it was, he would go to Grand Narrows. Then he told me he was heading that way and I could follow him. So I did! We stopped partway at an overlook and he told me little bits of his life. Then we continued on to the destination and talked some more. These are the moments I love ... these random connections with strangers who somehow don't feel like strangers. And truly I don't really believe anything is random if we remain present and open. And I'm grateful to have found this beautiful new spot!

Anthropologie Exclusive

I’m beyond thrilled and over the moon that 4 of my fine art photographs can now be found exclusively at Anthropologie online! They all involve flowers which makes my heart happy since botanicals and florals are some of my favorite subjects to photograph!

White Flowers in Her Hair (below) was the result of an impromptu photo session one autumn day while playing with chrysanthemums in a friend’s hair. My favorite work has often been the result of in the moment flow of creativity times!

Three more fine art photographs are also featured online Anthropologie Spring/Summer 2020! Summer Bloomed in Her Heart, Botanical Study 1 and Boho Floral (featured below) are part of my long running Blue Table Collection. I’m always looking for different backgrounds for my still life photographs and I found the table at a vintage flea market. It was such a beautiful color and works perfectly with so many other colors and was perfect for the flowers and findings from my nature walks! With hard work and never giving up, dreams do come true!
