onward

back in dc since I last wrote—korea feels like a dream out of inception. after the 14 hour flight back in august, the experience has melted away. did it even happen?

working on K street since then, surreally observing the lobbyists eating steaks, drinking scotch, and smoking cigars daily at noon as the restaurant next door. 

next? a move to SF—complete with a real job with a real salary and benefits, new friends, and my first-ever signed lease for a studio apartment. 

onward!

..left in korea. holy crap.

amazing whirlwind winter break spent in thailand, cambodia, vietnam, laos, and india. full of love, laughter, and the occasional mishap. shared an apartment in hongdae, seoul for 10 days and life couldn’t have been more wonderful.

now back to a home stay, korean culture, and teaching for 4 1/2 more months. After that? 

Who knows.

In theory...

I've finished my first Coursera course. How useful it was remains to be seen. I'm still pretty damn skeptical of MOOCs, however it was a fun way to feel mildly productive.
