I was reading some of your old notes that you posted from when you were brainstorming ideas for Minecraft: Story Mode and one of them read ‘Stacy & Stampy open a detective office’. Is there anything more about this, or was it just a random idea you wrote down?

Haha! I was putting together a pitch for a more open-world MCSM game, where there would be a huge version of Beacontown to explore full of stories and characters to find. One of the locations would be Stampy & Stacy’s detective agency, and you’d go there as a fun spot for side quests. Their dynamic together was just so charming, and they were actually friends in real life which added to the fun of writing for them. Obviously that pitch never went anywhere but I always really liked the idea.

A while ago I made a post about how we have Legend fearing everyone else is a dream but we should also consider Time fearing that all of them will forget about him.

Imagine that one day Legend wakes up in the middle of the night after a nightmare about Koholint, Time was on watch and went to comfort him. Legend throws himself towards Time and hugs him hard, wanting to hear the old man breathing and to feel the comforting warmth of his body, trying to grasp the fact that maybe Time is real, maybe he's here, maybe he does really have others at his side and he's not alone.

The next morning Legend apologizes with Time about what happened, but Time gives him a side hug and confesses that it's ok. He has a similar fear too. After leaving the Master Sword on her pedestal, during Termina, everyone forgot about him and even if he loved them as close friends, they only saw him as "someone they knew". So Time tells him that he fears that one day, the chain will forget about him, that he won't be "their old man" but just another hero they know.

And both heroes make a promise then. Time promises Legend that he's real and Legend promises Time that he's never gonna forget him. Both know is an impossible promise, a dream doesn't realize it's not real until it disappears and someone can't remeber something that it never happened. Yet they make that promise to eachother, as a way to reassure their own heart, like if promising something in exchange will fullfil the other promise.

Since then, when Legend feels nothing is real Time is at his side hugging him and helping Legend look at the surroundings, hoping that his touch let the veteran know he's real, and his voice calm that grumpy heart. And when Time fears nobody there knows him, Legend is holding his hands between his, repeating his full name and title again and again so Time hears how he didn't forget, but also Legend tells him about a happy memory where everyone is included because there's a memory to cherish.

WELL, I got the highest grade for my thesis and presentation, and a very nice review from my advisor that may or may not have made made me cry. Thank you guys for your patience and support, I feel like y'all played a major role in me staying motivated and not dropping out during that last year. Gotta figure out what to do next after 15 years of just studying... A terrifying thought but oh well

Now that I'm FREE and have some time for myself, I have a few practice shots planned, that's the first one! Wanted to work with perspective and depth, and let me tell you, those legs were a nightmare to draw. Also the apple was hanging from a thick branch originally but I wanted to spice it up so now there are LEAVES and MOVEMENT

Also I've found a toggle in tumblr settings that had been compressing my videos, so now everything's gonna be in full HD like it's SUPPOSED to be

On that note, I have a question: did my drawings become more (or less) saturated lately? I got a new monitor two months ago, which I'm still getting used to, and due to me being stubborn to get a high res monitor no matter what, it doesn't match my tablet anymore so I can't check colors on the big screen as I go.. so yeah, let me know if it's different
