2026 marks two major anniversaries: the 30th anniversary of Pokémon and the tenth anniversary of Kung Fu Panda 3. So to celebrate, I finally decided to finish this piece I started way back in 2023. Po and the Furious Five as Pokémon:

Po - Pangoro (self-explanatory).

Mantis - Scyther (Scyther is known for being a particularly fast Pokemon, with a base Speed of 105. Mantis is also noted for being fast, which is why I made him a Scyther instead of, say, Fomantis).

Monkey - Infernape (Infernape was the first Mon that came to mind; I considered Aipom for the sake of diversity but chose not to).

Crane - Swanna (the only Pokémon I could find that even remotely resembled a crane. Besides, the Water-typing seemed fitting for a character like Crane).

Tigress - Arcanine (I was going to go with Incineroar originally, but that Mon has a distinct Luchadore theme. Besides, Arcanine has visual tiger motifs).

Viper - Seviper (self-explanatory)

Wish I had more time to touch up a few things, but I'm overall happy with how the final product turned out.

Yesterday, I rewatched Turning Red with friends on Discord. It may not be my absolute favorite Pixar film, but it's a damn good movie nonetheless.

MY FIRST ART PIECE OF 2026. Again, I wanna apologize about my inactivity lately. Nothing personally really; just been busy with gaming and movie watching.

I wanna try and make an effort to go back to being productive this year, but with how busy I tend to be in my personal life - and by busy, I mean stuck either at work for 6-to-8 hours a day or playing hours upon hours of video games - I sadly can't make any promises. If anything, my update schedule's just gonna be a little more erratic than usual.

Still, this is a piece I've been wanting to get off the backburner for a while. So I hope everyone enjoys!

I recently stumbled across a Bad Guys fanfiction titled, The Bad Life of Billy the Kid, in which the eponymous Bad Guys take in a baby and raise it as their own. As you probably tell, I enjoyed the story enough to make my own cover poster for it. Hope this came out well; I spent all day working on it and struggled trying to get the composition and background characters right.

I'm someone who's a sucker for "adult characters become better people through the influence of a child" plots. Especially in fanworks cause I love seeing how the authors take creative liberties with canon with only necessary deviation. Highly recommend the fanfic if you enjoy such narratives yourselves.
