“Ah..” He let out a small sigh, scratching the back of his head as if he was having a deep thought about the question the other have asked him. “It depends really on the situation” He paused for a while he started to talk again. “If it is about work I don’t really have a choice there.”

She leaned against the tree. She wasn’t quite sure why she had stopped yet once again near a stranger to talk about positive things. Or make them feel better. The bad habit eventually would have to stop. Not everyone appreciated a complete stranger talking to them as if they had been friends for the longest time. She kept her shoulder against the tree and stared at the river, considering his words. She didn’t know how life worked as well but her father really enjoyed Buddhism so she herself had turned to that religion. So positive mindsets were everything that guided her way. “Life doesn’t have a proper way to work I suppose.” She said. It was true. Nothing was firm in the end and nothing was predictable. Even the more firm subjects in the world, were nothing but that. Subjects. “But you see, if you always try to keep your head up and a positive mindset, then bad things won’t ruin your way. I believe that it’s fair to cry and suffer but not to drown in sadness. Otherwise that’s all you will see. You gotta always fight back to see good in things. For more idiots that they might be. This way you win.”

He couldn’t accept them, yet her words made him .. in a way understand himself better. He looked up at her, his eyebrows furrowed. “Fight to see good things? Why do I have to struggle to accept myself if people don’t even try to understand me?” He muttered, pulling on the gloves again. He was again, moody. He didn’t understand this, maybe it wss just... Lack of sleep that pulled him back to the self-pity. He should stop it. “Sorry, I barely slept last night.” ❞
