Hi everyone! I still get likes or repost from this blog and that makes me remember the show and makes me want to do a rewatch (and stop in season 3 🙃). Ahhh 🥰 cuz till this day I haven't seen another show that make me feel how I felt for Jane and Michael, the way I cried when he died... I mock myself thinking that I took it too personal hahaha, I was a mess for days but they also showed me what i want in a relationship (I mean it was the first time i see it on a show) So they hold a very special place in my heart.

I want to see their journey all over again.. but at the same time I don't wanna suffer 😂 if I ever do I'll try to act like it's the first time.

ooh, jane the virgin!

Okay, I actually have two.

First one is at Jane and Michaels wedding when he looks at Alba before starting his vows in Spanish. Like you just know how much time and effort he put into that, just so he could make Jane happy. He loved her so completely and he would just do anything for her. The best fictional man! That scene makes me cry every single time.

The second one is when Micheal is in the hospital after getting shot and she gives him that whole speech about how their life is going to be together and that they are going to be happy. Sometimes I like to pretend that’s how the series ended. Them growing old together, so in love.

Those scenes have my whole heart and they help me to get though the dumpster fire that was the last season.

Send me a show, and I will tell you a specific moment from that show that I love with all my heart.

Ok, you all! I've been into KDramas for the past 3 months (I watched one and then i was doomed hahaha) but found a video about upcoming shows and they are going to do Jane the Virgin.. I wonder if they are going to focus on the original Venezuelan story or take inspiration from the US version 🤔.

I just couldn't help to think "oh damn, don't hurt another Michael" lol

I love your blog you write the way I wish I could. Can you please tell me why you loved Jane and Michael together? I loved them so much ....

I mean there are so many reasons why I loved Jane and Michael together. One of the reasons, which I mentioned in another post, is that Michael and Jane clicked. Before I wrote that post an anon had asked me why I didn’t ship Jafael since Jane and Rafael had spark and I agreed that they did but then I realized that not only do Jane and Michael have spark because they do, they have potent chemistry

but they also click, they get each other, they actually are best friends, they’re dorks with each other

and there’s an implicit understanding.

One of my favourite quotes of them ever is when they flashback to when they first meet in 3x01 and Jane giggles to Xo “it’s like we already have inside jokes” because that’s them, that’s Michael and Jane, sort of operating on this plane that’s only meant for them

what I also really enjoyed is that Michael made her feel safe but not only that but the show really delved into what that meant because there’s a misconception about what it means to feel safe with someone, there’s an idea that it means that the relationship is boring and JTV directly contradicts that

because she feels safe with Michael she can lose control

plus I just love their little signs of affection, like the nose touch before he kisses her

or the way she’d kiss his chest and he’d lean toward her

how he cradles her head

and the development. Michael was not supportive of the pregnancy at the beginning of season 1 and handled it terribly but then throughout the series grew to love Mateo and want to be a big part of his life. I remember someone said that his character completely changed in season 2 but it didn’t he underwent character development and we see him get there

So I enjoy that they weren’t perfect, that they grew and they fell even more deeply in love because of the obstacles they endured and the growth they had to take apart and together.

They were an extremely well-written relationship.

Do you guys realize Jane chose Michael? She actually chose him to be her husband, to be her first! to be her forever. Do you all realize that??

Jane was robbed from the life she chose and she ended up settling for her second choice.

That’s messed up.

I don’t understand how anyone would think that’s cute or romantic.

When Jane said she didn’t really like camping but she liked camping with Michael.

I kid you not, I cried because my mind went to every giraffe moment. From “I WHITTLED YOU A GIRAFFE” to “PASSWORD:GIRAFFE” and “WERE YOU THINKING ABOUT MICHAEL.”

Omg! It's almost been a year since I make this blog, it's been a year when I thought the quarantine was going to be over "soon" and decided to give this TV show a chance and oh dang! I was hooked.

I wasn't expecting all the feels, and Brett got to read me at the time too 🥲.

Also THANK YOU to everyone who has follow, liked, reblog, interacted with any of my post! 🥰, the whole point of this blog was to get things out of my chest since nobody I know has seen the show and I loved to get to see things from other people and chat :)

After JTV I've been following the cast but Justin Baldoni was 🤯 #lovehim, i can't believe he was Rafael hahah, I mean if Raf would have stayed Zen and improve a little bit like his real life person, at least for me it would have been a tough choice to choose from (but after Michael's death, not before).

Oh well, I bet it was fun to play him for him.
