On December 17, 1962, God let one of his angels come down to earth, and among many other things, give birth to me. Not only did He give me the opportunity to meet such a strong, persistent, loving, funny, intelligent, phenomenal woman, He let her be my mother. As I wrap up my undergraduate career, I thank God, and continue to thank God, for the undying love and unconditional support of whatever my dreams may be. To know that I have someone in my corner fighting and rooting for me, even when I may not even realize it, is the most fulfilling thing I could ask for during such a very hard and trying last couple of years. You are a true testimony, mom, to the fact that no matter how old you are, God still has something for you to do, some life to touch, some heart to mend.
