Jude, even though I've only known you for a few weeks, I know that you're the one person here that I can't bear to lose. I hope this card shows you just that. While I can't promise that I won't be a mess, make stupid mistakes or scream louder than you ever will during scary movies, I can promise that no matter what the results of the competition, I will be there for you in every way that I possibly can. :)
i came onto this show thinking iâd have fun while it lasted and then move on with my life unchanged, but i was changed the moment i met you, even if i hadnât realised it at the time. iâm not perfect either, iâm still learning how to love, still growing, and i know i will mess up along the way. but iâll always be there for you too, for as long as you want me; your mess is mine, and mine is yours. weâll figure it out together, you and i.
nixyoung:
â OH, so i foiled your plans, huh? damn me. seemed to be starting my trip off on a bad note. though find me the next time you want to do that, iâd be happy to join. â even though his words were the opposite of his smile across his face, nixon didnât mean what he was saying. he was happy to be there and he assumed that the girl was as well. there was a moment that it felt like the girl, jude, was getting closer to him. it caused his own body start to lean into hers at the same time. the attraction pulling them together like it was a magnet. his head tilted to the side as she spoke, lips spreading and nodding along with her words. â thank you, i was born with it. you can tell my parents they did a good job. â his eyebrows shot up when she pulled away from him, like the moment was broken between them. it was curious to nix as to why they were doing it in the first place, he just didnât exactly want it to end so quickly. â i have no plans. my night is completely free and iâm at the moonâs mercy. Â or yours i suppose. if youâll have me. â
jude found her grin widening at his offer, at the idea that there was a next time that could be spoken of so freely. â youâve got plenty of time to make it up to me, so weâre good. â she hadnât taken her eyes off him at all, so his reaction at her pulling away did not go unnoticed. there was something satisfying about knowing that she wasnât the only one who was feeling the pull. jude was fairly certain sheâd kiss him before the end of the night â she always was weak-willed when it came to these sorts of things â but not quite yet. â hey mr and mrs young, you did a great job naming this one, â she spoke aloud, gaze finding one of the unmanned cameras mounted on the wall that was constantly recording their movements, and then throwing in a wink for good measure. turning back to nix, she was contemplative for a moment before picking up her still half-full glass and downing the rest of the drink. not that she needed the liquid courage though. â speaking of the moon, you had a chance to admire the night sky here, yet? because i know a way up to the roof, if youâre interested. the more important question though, is whether youâd rather share a bottle of dark rum, or if we should bust out some wine glasses. â
jfcserena:
âwell now you know for future adventures to the beach,â serena teased and quickly followed suit, ditching her clothes on the couch next to judeâs. ânude beaches are becoming more and more normal. iâm sure no one would object to seeing that body of yours on full display.â the flirtatious vibe between the two was unmistakable and serena was loving it. âif theyâre good kisses then why wouldnât i keep you around?â she countered. the playful banter and witty remarks was something that serena was a fan of and was glad to see jude playing along. once the two were undressed, she took judeâs hand and lead her out towards the beach. the sun was bright and the breeze was crisp, a perfect beach day by any regard. âi hope youâre a fan of swimming and not just lounging in the sand. otherwise weâre going to have problems.â
â think about the children though, â she retorted, laughter betraying the fact that she wasnât being serious. â i wonder if theyâre going to censor all the sensitive bits before it actually airs on tv, because iâd hate to have my nudes circulating the internet. iâd like to be able to choose who gets to see me without my clothes on. â the inflection on the word and her tone in general made it clear that serena was included in her list of people sheâd be more than okay with seeing her naked. there was no complaints at all on her end as serena took her hand, letting herself be led towards the beach. the moment she caught sight of the water though, she sped up, now being the one to pull serena along. â no problems here, â she grinned over her shoulder, â itâs not a good beach day if youâre not soaking wet at some point. â the double entendre had been intentional, mirth dancing in her eyes even as she refused to laugh. they were close to the water when jude had an idea, stopping in her tracks and reaching for serena with her free hand as well in order to pick the girl up. serena was rather petite, so it didnât take too much effort for jude to run with the girl in her arms, going deep enough that serena wouldnât be hurt if jude tossed her into the waterââ which was exactly what she did. sheâd probably pay for that in a bit, but the laughter had finally broke free and right now jude was far too pleased with herself to care about the consequences.
fckalysia:
âoh gosh, dont talk about it. i can feel myself getting weak in the knees,â she laughed. she followed the girl and then looked down at a paper that the show emailed her, â103.â she began to scan the room numbers and clapped when she found it, âhere it is!â she went and opened up the door, smiling and motioning for the other to come in. her suitcases surrounded the room and as she walked in, she pushed the to the side.
â i hope that means iâll be seeing you in the gym sometime. â jude was on the opposite side of the hallway when alysia announced that sheâd found the room, and so she made her way over, walking right into the room that looked exactly like her own, except much neater. her first stop was at the little sitting area, placing the bowls of food down on the coffee table before stretching out the kinks in her arms. â alright, time to eat! â flopping onto the couch, jude made herself comfortable, patting the space next to her. â câmon, these chips arenât going to eat themselves. â
nixyoung:
â drinking alone is a DAMN FINE decision. â nixon said loudly, his laugh mixing with the words before looking over at the girl. the smile spread to almost a softer one looking at the girl, her features were soft and inviting. like nixon wanted to talk to this girl and learn all her secrets while just looking at her for a few moments. â you want to join me and youâre drinking a gin and tonic? are you a woman after my own heart? should i be cautious that the show is providing me with a loophole or something? â he matched her motions, moving in his barstool so that they were just looking at each other. it already felt more like the night was coming alive just from her arrival. â nixon. young, nixon young. nix if youâd prefer. and yours? or is there going to be some allusion to mystery here? â
â iâll drink to that. â clicking her tongue once lightly, jude picked up the glass that had just been placed in front of her and tipped it towards the man before taking a nice, long swig. â just between you and me? â she leaned forward, dropping her voice to a conspiratorial whisper, â my original plan was to steal a couple of a bottles and drink in my room. but i have to say, i like the turn the nightâs taken. â jude laughed softly. now that he was facing her as well, she had a better look of his face, and while heâd looked good in profile, he looked even better like this; sharp features contrasted by a soft smile, hair that looked soft to the touch, and oh, did jude want to touch. but she held back. not yet, not yet. the night was young yet and she didnât want the fun to be over quite so soon. â i promise iâm not a plant put in by production to mess with you, but even if i was, would it matter? weâre just two young adults having a drink, arenât we? â nix, she repeated in her head, realising a beat too late that sheâd spoken aloud. â itâs a nice name, â she added, briefly contemplating the merits of keeping her name secret before deciding that she might as well be forthright. jude had a feeling that it was hard to be anything but honest with someone like nix; he had a way of looking at people that made them want to tell him everything. and by people, she meant herself. â iâm an open book. my charm isnât contingent on keeping secrets. iâm jude. holland, if youâre curious about my last name, but iâm not quite sure what youâd want with that. â realising that sheâd been leaning closer as she spoke, jude drew back slightly, picking up her drink once more for another sip. â you got any other fun stuff planned for the night besides getting drunk? â
fckalysia:
âoh i would so go there for the view,â she laughed. alysia loved the gym and she thought having a friend to go with was awesome. she noticed the girlâs gesture and smiled, following her, âthanks.â
â understandable. shirtless guys on the beach or by the pool is one thing, but shirtless guys covered in a light sheen of sweat as they work out? â jude let out a low whistle before laughing, â yeah, itâs pretty great. and hey, no problem. the place is pretty big, and it took me a while to really remember where everything is, but youâll get there. â it didnât really take too long to get to the wing with all the rooms from the foyer, and once they reached the first room, jude came to a stop, turning to the other girl. â what number are you in? iâll help you look. â
jfcserena:
âsomeone has to watch out for the poor girl. and itâs not like anyone else is going to do it,â serena defended with a smirk. the dynamic between her and jude was already something that serena could get used to. they obviously had similar views on life and even though they had just met they seemed rather compatible. her appearance was alluring and her personality sealed the deal without question. excited to see jude reciprocate her feelings for spending time together, serena cracked a smile and sat up on the couch. this opportunity was equal or better to a date since there was no pressure for it to go well. after receiving judeâs kiss on her hand she smirked and stood up to be next to her. ârule number one of vacationing at a beach: always wear your swimsuit.â the girl lifted up her shirt to reveal a deep purple bikini along with a decent amount of bare skin. âor you can just forego the swimsuit and get right to the rest of those kisses you promised.â
judeâs gaze followed the movement of serenaâs hand, smile growing as the girl lifted her shirt up to show her swimsuit, although jude had a feeling the gratuitous baring of skin was hardly innocent. â if only someone had told me about this rule earlier. i guess now iâll just have to go naked, â she remarked coolly, as if sheâd spoken about something no more mundane than the weather. she wasnât completely serious about swimming naked of course, but thank the heavens sheâd put on a cute, matching pair of bra and panties that day that could pass as a bikini. â whereâs the fun in that? and besides, if i give you all these kisses now, you might not have any reason to keep me around any longer, and i certainly donât want that. â even as she said that though, jude leaned closer, her lips hovering next to serenaâs ear. â câmon, letâs get out of here. â she pressed her lips softly against the girlâs temple with a faintly murmured âthatâs kiss number twoâ before stepping back, her gaze not leaving serenaâs as she pulled her t-shirt over her head and dropped it on the couch theyâd just been sitting on.
â CHEERS MATE. â nixon grinned as he clinked his glass to the bartenderâs, it took quite a bit of convincing to get the bartender to actually agree to take a shot with him but he eventually wore him down. maybe it was nixâs cheery demeanor or maybe the man just needed the release himself. who knew, nixon certainly didnât care. the lime-green liquid burned as he drank the shot as quickly as he could, letting out a small laugh with a shake of his head. â that was absolutely brilliant. could i get a whiskey and ginger now? â the hotel bar was empty except nix, he assumed most of the other cast was off to their own adventures while his consisted of alcohol. for that night at least.
for reasons jude could not comprehend, the in-house bar was rarely frequented by the houseguests, bar a select few, including jude herself. but on the bright side, that meant that the bar was often unattended, and jude enjoyed borrowing alcohol to get drunk in the comfort of her own room. which was exactly what she was on her way to do, except the fact that there was not one, but two people downing shots at the bar put those plans to a halt. which was just as well, because already a new plan for the night was forming. â is drinking alone a conscious decision i should respect, or can i offer my company? â she said in lieu of a greeting as she slid onto the stool next to the mysterious new guest, a smile pulling at her lips. â gin and tonic, please, â she briefly turned her attention to the bartender before her gaze fell on the stranger once more. she swivelled on the barstool until she was facing him completely, her elbow braced against the counter as she rested her head in her palm. â and from you, perhaps a name? â
Jeremiah was just finishing his workout at the resort gym, using two body balls to do clap push-ups before pushing himself off the ground and putting his stuff away. He wiped his face off on his already sweaty shirt and walked over to the mirror, only the camera man behind him. Surely they wouldnât use any of this footage because it wasnât interesting, he thought to himself. He walked over to the mirror wall and flexed his arm in the mirror in a few different positions. He heard somebody footsteps behind him and jumped a little, trying to act natural and walking away from the mirror.
jude had been headed to the gym to retrieve her bottle â because of course she would be dumb enough to forget her bottle after a workout and not realise until hours later â when she heard the sound of someone working out. it definitely wasnât jt, since heâd already hit the gym with her earlier, and curious, she kept quiet, peeking in from the doorway. she wasnât sure what sheâd been expecting, but she definitely hadnât thought that sheâd be watching the new guy flexing at his own reflection.Â
trying hard to keep her laughter in check, she entered the gym, and it just so happened that she had to walk right by him to get to her bottle. jude knew how to tread quietly, but when the room was devoid of anyone else besides the two of them and when she was so close to him, she wasnât surprised that he was alerted to her presence. in the end, it was the sight of him trying to act as if the flex session hadnât happened that finally caused her to lose it, the laughter sheâd been holding back bursting out in almost delirious giggles. â sorry, sorry, â she apologised even as she struggled to breathe, and it took a good few minutes before the laughter finally died down. â sorry, â she repeated, still half-grinning as she reached up to wipe the tears that had gathered from laughing so hard, â thereâs no shame in that. we all like to admire ourselves every once in a while. and youâve got a great body, so flex away, my friend. â
fckincorrine:
âitâs sweet until you know the entire story. then itâs pathetic,â she said, of course speaking about her own situation. âbut i guess youâre right. they couldâve chosen to spend their time with someone else but they chose me.â corrine smiled at the thought and actually took comfort in it. âi donât think youâre alone in that. iâve met plenty of people here who donât seem like the single commitment type. not that thatâs bad or anything.â she gave a nervous smile, hoping she didnât offend jude. âof course iâll cover. though i donât know how well iâd do. i need like a full backstory in order to execute a good lie. but yâknow what? i could use a friend too. my mischief skills however might need a little dusting off.â
â some might find the fact that weâre on a reality tv show about finding love pathetic, but that didnât stop me, did it? â jude countered with a wink and soft laughter. â theyâve got good taste, if you ask me. and oh no, no offence taken or anything. actually, i was kind of afraid everyone here would be super serious about just pursuing one person, but iâve been having fun, so. â she wriggled her eyebrows lightly to make her euphemism impossible to miss, looking quite pleased with herself. still grinning, she reached out to place a hand on corrineâs shoulder, clearing her throat and then putting on a show of exaggerated faux-seriousness. â i have utmost faith in you, my friend. say... since you need to dust off your mischief skills, letâs do something right now, a prank or something. â the more she spoke, the more invested she became in the idea of pranking the other houseguests. â your first task is to come up with a silly prank. something along the lines of... switching the sugar and salt, yâknow? â
jfcserena:
by just hearing her voice and before seeing a face serena knew it was jude that entered the room by her words. after the girl had taken a place next to her on the couch she turned her attention to the other and smirked. âthey shouldnât even be doing what theyâre doing considering their history. but if the girl wants her heart broken again then she can do whatever the hell she wants to.â though she wants jealous of the couple, it was a thought that crossed her mind once or twice before. if she had decided to truly settle down and be happy with someone. and truth be told she wasnât mad at jude for rejecting her. they had hardly spoken before date cards so she didnât blame her. âiâm not mad at you. and i donât blame you for rejecting my offer. it just means weâll have to make our own date here. go to the beach or something.â going out felt like too much pressure to actually get to know the person. now the pair could just enjoy themselves at their leisure. âi think there has to be some kind of platonic kissing involved for it to even be fun.â
â careful, serena. someone might overhear and think that you care for corrine, â jude teased, laughter coming more easily now that she was certain that the other girl hadnât been mortally offended by the rejection. and then she received spoken confirmation that they were good, maybe even better than good. jude kind of wished that sheâd approached serena sooner, because she was getting the feeling that theyâd get along wonderfully. then again, that wouldâve made her date card dilemma even harder to deal with, so she supposed maybe there was a reason theyâd never gotten around to speaking properly until then. when the other girl suggested going to the beach, jude perked right up, having always been enthusiastic about anything to do with the outdoors. that, along with the fact that she was certain she would enjoy seeing serena in a bikini. sheâd just sat down but already she was on her feet once more, reaching for serenaâs hand and placing a light kiss along the back of her fingers before tugging her up lightly. â thatâs kiss number one, â she grinned, â and thereâs more where that came from. but first, i think weâre both a little too covered up for my liking. what do you say we go get changed and then meet back here in five? â
fckalysia:
âno problem.â the girl smiled, brushing hair out of her face. she then laughed, âoh yeah. ill totally be a big help.â alysia watched as the girl struggled to eat a chip and fought back a loud laugh. she then made a face, âbeing active makes me feel good about myself but, i dont like it.â she then matched girlâs grin, âi would like that. shall we eat in my room that i have yet to find?â
â hey, maybe next time iâll drag you to the gym with me. we can make it less of a boysâ club, not that iâm complaining too much â because the view is nice â but itâd also be nice to have another girl. â nodding in agreement, jude started walking again, making a vague gesture with her head that was meant as a âfollow meâ and hoping that alysia would understand. â iâll help you look for your room. â
nicvlcs:
nicolas stepped back into the resort at seven in the morning, his mind a bigger mess than ever. at first, he didnât pay much mind to the sounds coming from a few feet away - ever since the day one of the contestants found the piano at the foyer and realised that it actually worked, there was rarely a moment of silence - but this time, the more he listened, the more he had to bite back a laugh when it became clear that whomever it was on the piano had practically no idea what they were doing. while heâd never boast of being to play the instrument well per se, it had been something that heâd done all throughout his childhood and into his teenage years. strangely enough, the all-too-familiar sound of wrong keys being hit and awkward pauses every three notes managed to bring back memories that made him want to slip away and pretend like he wasnât there. nothing worse than getting dramatic over things that happened years ago.
and yet, that familiar laugh drew him in. nicolas walked slowly towards jude, taking in the sight of her hunched over the piano, fingers tense over the keys with a small smile on his face. the orange glow of the sunrise cast a shadow that would have looked haunting if he didnât know that the girl herself was the complete opposite of that. he gently rubbed judeâs shoulder when he got closer, trying to loosen up her current position. the position of suffering, as he coined it himself when he was younger. âi donât think thatâs how it goes,â he pointed out softly, subconsciously reaching out for the keys to run his fingers along the last octave, though it didnât make any sound. âmay i?â
despite the mere sound of the piano having startled her earlier, jude barely flinched when she felt the touch on her shoulder. before heâd even said anything, sheâd figured out by touch alone who it was that had just joined her, and sure enough, the familiar timbre of his voice followed shortly. â i donât think thatâs how it goes either, â she relented with a soft smile, turning to face him and then regretting it almost immediately when she found his face mere inches from hers. for a moment it felt like the scene that occured in her bedroom was playing out all over again, but then he spoke again and jude was knocked out of her reverie and back into the present. â yeah, go for it, â she encouraged, even shifting closer to the edge of the bench and patting the space next to her, a clear invitation for him to join her.
for a moment, sheâd thought about letting him reach over her to play the piano, enjoying the warmth of his presence against her back and the thought of his arms on either side of her, even if it wasnât quite an embrace. but jude refused to let herself go down that slippery slope again, not after sheâd barely managed to hold on before. the faint scent of masonâs cologne on nicolas was a stark reminder of the reality of their situation, of the choice that nicolas had made ââ even before sheâd come into the picture, so who was she to try and make him choose differently? it was a new day, and with the rising sun came a new perspective; something in her still ached for what could have been, but more than that she feared that sheâd lose him completely if she gave into her selfish desires. they were friends, and that was going to have to be enough.
vcrxnas:
was there a sense of surprise that came with the asking of the date? perhaps there was but it didnât come from a bewilderment of who asked her out. in modern sense, ro believed it came out of a mere curiosity â there was no room for romance whatsoever in-between their words. to ro, the two had a contract and that was all there was between them. and she didnât care. after all, money, money money.
the only surprise that came with the date was the fact someone didnât try to fight for it. literally. back home, she was infamous for telling those that asked her out on dates to fight her in the ring. they win, sheâll gave. â she didnât go on many dates.
while the spitfire did not know of the details, that is where they were going nor the proper etiquette that revolved around said date, she felt jude was more than prepared. that came with the rumors that floated the resort with her dateâs as they say ⊠playful nature. her heart felt a tug. jealousy? over another woman? no. over those she had a slight affection too⊠however. she felt her white teeth sink themselves down into the crimson colours.Â
she turned her head to the vanity with a large mirror â great for the narcissists, as she would say. her eyes met her reflection in the mirror. ro has âsharp teeth inside her mouth, inside her dark red lips. and lacquer slickly hides the claws in her red fingertips.â that was who she was. this whole jealousy emotion was a waste of time. an irritation.
the zip of the heels was covered by the knocking of the door. she wasnât quite sure of what to wear but alas, she was in her room. if she had to change, she could.  âonly if it lights me on fire, â verona effused, leaning against the door frame. âso where you taking me today, babe. iâll tell you this now, iâm not one for movies.â
â you really think a movie date is the best i can come up with? â she jested in return, crossing her arms over her chest. â you hurt me ro, really. â but there was no real heat in her words, and the curve of her lips spoke of amusement as opposed to offence. taking a step back, jude assessed the redheadâs outfit, and if her gaze lingered longer than necessary in order to appreciate just how toned roâs body wasââ well, she wasnât ashamed to admit it.
as sheâd kind of expected, ro was dressed in an outfit similar to the one sheâd worn the day before, and part of her had wanted the dayâs activity to be a surprise, but perhaps it would be better to divulge the information so that she could choose to change clothes if sheâd like. besides, she had a feeling her date wasnât all too fond of surprises anyway. â weâre going to viñales. theyâve got horses for rent there, and i thought itâd be nice to explore on horseback. itâs about a three hour car ride away, and we might spend the night, so bringing an overnight bag would be good. â
even if the girl saw nothing wrong with her outfit, she still needed to pack an extra set of clothes, and so jude took advantage of the space between roâs body and the other side of the doorway that she wasnât leaning on, striding into her room. her hand found the crook of roâs elbow as she stepped in, pulling her back towards the closet. her first thought upon seeing the clothes that were hung up was that ro owned a lot of leather items, and there was a wicked grin on judeâs face as she plucked a top off its hanger, holding it up against her own torso before holding it out towards ro, closing one eye as if envisioning the redhead in the outfit. (she was.)
â iâd love to see you in this someday. â but then she thought of other people seeing her in the top as well and the playfulness slipped from her demeanour immediately as she returned the top to its hanger. jude was well aware of how ridiculous her reaction was, since it was hardly like her to get... what was the word corrine had used? oh yes, territorial about people, and she was well aware that ro was her own woman, and jude had no right to this sudden... jealousy. shaking the unwelcome thoughts off, she moved to sit on the edge of the bed while waiting for ro to finish getting ready.
@judehd
graham might have felt bad for the way things had gone on date card night and the position heâd put jude in, but overall he was very happy she had agreed. he enjoyed her company and to be completely honest the kiss was still somewhat on his mind. he found her fearlessness to be extremely endearing. and heâd meant what he said about despite being scared he didnât want to miss out of opportunities, and jude seemed to be someone he was certain could help him through those fears. though that didnât mean what so ever that he was ready to jump out of a plane but it did mean he was ready for a step closer to that reality and he was excited to go through with it with her. plus he figured that if he did hesitate sheâd push him and he was certain heâd thank her for it.
with his swim trunks on and a tank top, he walked on over to judeâs room and knocked politely, he put his hands behind his back as he waited for her, hiding the small bouquet of daffodils heâd gotten for her. he hoped it wasnât too much, but he wanted to make an impression and after reading up on daffodils heâd learned that they stood for new beginnings. much like the the new beginning he was going to experience with her. while he was aware that it carried a lot of weight, the purpose of the flower was more for him then her, that and he didnât want to scare her off, when all he had were good intentions. he was a bit nervous though he tried his best not to show it and smiled. he hoped he wouldnât make too much of a fool of himself, especially when the activity planned wasnât in his comfort zone.Â
jude had never told anyone, but graham had actually been the first person to catch her attention at the resort. it wasnât just the fact that he was extremely easy on the eyes â although jude would readily admit that his good looks didnât hurt â but he came across as a very genuine and sincere person. truth be told he wasnât exactly the type of guy jude usually sought out, but she was only a girl, and she was certain she could hardly be blamed for falling into his charm. it wasnât often that she met people like him who were eager to try new things; most people she met either already had similar interests as her, or was adamant on never doing the things she did. she admired the fact that he wanted to do all these things despite his fears, and she was more than happy, honoured even on some level, that heâd chosen her to be by his side.
sheâd just finished putting on a simple tank top and shorts over a one-piece swimsuit when the knock on the door came, and she was sure heâd be able to tell how eager she was by how quickly the answered the door, a wide grin on her face once the male came into view. â hi, â she greeted a little breathlessly, ready to leave the room when she realised that he had not moved, still blocking her way out. raising an eyebrow curiously, her gaze drifted to where his hands were hidden behind his back, her grin widening. â did you get me something? â going on her tip-toes, she attempted to peek over his shoulder at what he was holding.
fckalysia:
âwoah!â alysia exclaimed, putting a hand on the bowl so nothing else fell out. she knew what a disappointment it was too lose precious snacks. she smirked slightly, laughing, âim a ninja. trained by one of the best sensiâs in new york.â she let go of the bowl when she knew the other had a good hold on it and smiled, âim alysia. and as do i. i dont see it as a problem, though. more as a privledge. i get to try all kinds of food to snack on.â
â thanks, â jude breathed as she smiled, referring to the way the other girl saved any more of her chips from falling out of the bowl. â a ninja, eh? so if i need a buddy to help me sneak out of here, i know who to call. â readjusting her grip on the bowl, jude leaned down and picked up a chip from the bowl with her mouth, lifting the salsa in order to dip the chip in and then throwing her head back in order to let the chip fall into her mouth. she probably couldâve just alysia to feed her a chip, but the thought didnât come to her until she had swallowed the mouthful. â yeah, well my folks always tell me that iâm lucky i enjoy being active, yâknow, to work off all the food i eat and everything. but like, how can we be sure itâs not the other way around? maybe i eat this much because iâm so active. â jude looked slightly smug as she divulged her theory, but then broke into a grin once more. â hey, youâre welcome to help me finish this big olâ bowl of chips if youâd like. iâll take suggestions on what else we can do while we snack. â
