Okay but consider - Viktor turned 33 whilst in the cult and Jayce turned 32 whilst in the torment nexus. Now imagine them both realising this and trying to throw the other a belated surprise party.

Ahh I keep trying to think of direct ideas for this one but I don’t really have any. But definitely cute if you want to run with it yourself!
All I can really think about is the two of them meeting again and Jayce seeing how much young Viktor looks as the Herald, no longer in pain; and Viktor seeing how much Jayce has aged in the fissures, how he wears it on his face.
Viktor just holding Jayce’s worn face in his hands, kissing his forehead, feeling the creases smooth out under his lips.
What I’m hearing is that you’re too used to writing hurt/comfort lol.
What I'm hearing is that you demand authors write what you want to see and you don't know how to accept a polite decline.
An author is under NO obligation to respond to you, or to write what you want to see! Sulky took time out of THEIR day to try to come up with something- despite not being inspired by your prompt- and you respond like an absolute dick.
Maybe take a step back and think about the way you're presenting yourself. You look like an ungrateful content consumer with no regard for the author.
Write it yourself if you have such strong opinions about it.

Barbie 12 Dancing Princesses Timeline?
Let's start with that fashionable man who comes to invite them to the ball (TLDR: 1733)
Desmond (TLDR: ??????)
Notably his hair might be powdered but he's not wearing a wig, and he has fuckin mutton chops again.
Poofy sleeves that end in a cuff, LONG set of ruffles down the front, thick ass belt, poofy pants, stockings, buckled shoes
So these pants feel right, but the shoes are wrong. Good cuff on the man in black, notably, none of the right ruffles.
This 1680s one has the right pants again, much better on the coat being longer, not enough ruffles in the chest, too much at the sleeves, and no poofs at the shoulder.
Antonio's ruff was from the 1770s, and it's the same as King Randolph's.
Maybe it's just like.... on his shirt, and he's not wearing an under-vest?
And I cannot find any poofy sleeves at the shoulders in any of these time periods so I think I'm giving up on desmond for now
The Princesses (TLDR: 1830-40)
The Nightgowns are giving Regency era (1795 - 1837)
now Ballet wise, as I said in my Swan Lake posts, pointe shoes don't get invented until the 1820s and they very clearly get pointe shoes from Derek.
Their ballet dresses are just barely not above the knee, and ballet outfits got above the knee in the 1830s.
I liked this one from 1845 because it incorporated the flowers in the bodice that all the girls have.
This one didn't say an exact date but judging by the skirt length it's from around the same era, and it has the poof sleeves leading into a long sleeve (I think)! It even has a sweetheart neckline, which barbie tends to add for no reason, but may be actually relevant here.
This one's from 1886 although I'm not sure if that's when it was painted or when it was representing. Regardless, big fan of the floral skirts, the poofy sleeves, and the skirt length.
This is the only colored one I could find that actually confirmed the long sleeves, and it's from 1830s-40s
so that's nightgowns from between 1745 and 1837, ballet outfits from 1845, 1830-40, and 1886. I think that puts us solidly around 1830 to 40!
World Building (1850-1880?)
Two of the girls play Croquet, and that was popularized in 13th century France, England got into it in the 16th century and the Irish named it croquet in 1850
Derek has a parrot, which was apparently popular during Louis XV, Henry VIII, and Queen Victoria's reigns, so that encompasses 1509 to 1901.
Monkeys apparently got really popular in the 19th century, specifically the 1880s, but that just means that by then they were no longer limited to royalty, so I'm fine with assuming that 1880s is a little late for the monkey.
So that's.... that's not very helpful! I thought it would be but then it wasn't. So combining when it was known as croquet + when monkeys became too mainstream, I think we could concievably narrow it to 1850-1880
Derek (15-1600s)
unfortunately derek is the least helpful man in existence
it's giving fucking doublet from the 1500s
but the pants are all wrong
and the goddamn 15-1600s are NOWHERE near anyone else so fuck him for this how dare he
Rowena (1570?)
okay WIDE asf skirt, poofed shoulders and sleeves that have ruffles that point UP instead of down
the hairstyle is an Elizabethan Thumper, from about 1570-80, but she doesn't have the makeup or the ruff.
so here's a marie antoinette dress that is, admittedly, much bigger, but that's the vibe, yknow? The sleeves are all wrong though.
This lady from 1605-10 who does have sleeve cuffs that look right (but they're too long) and a collar, but the hair is wrong.
These are labeled 1560-8?, and the lady in black has the sort of poofy pointy shoulders, and they certainly have pretty wide skirts.
her collar is most similar to 1610 I believe, so the earliest we have is 1560, the latest we have is 1610. Most commonly 1570.
Rowena Revised (1768-80s)
So I was attempting to shove her into the 1500s because of her hair shape, but quite honestly
the 1700s are much more accurate and I need to stop fighting it
She's very clearly wider than she is circular, you can see when she stands diagonally. I would say second half of the 1770s, judging by the hair.
And despite her VERY elizabethan heart shaped hair, there are other styles I can attribute to- namely the Poof
So I think very clearly between 1768 and 1780s, as far as her hair goes. And her dress isn't disagreeing with me, so that's that!
what up besties I'm trying to decide when the FUCK Barbie Swan Lake is set
Barbie is always in things they think will be appealing to children, so I don't think judging by her outfits will get me anywhere, so instead I've decided to focus on the royalty and the peasantry.
starting off strong with Barbie's older sister Marie: notable design choices for me are the thick shoulder straps on the bodice, and then some lacing in the front. The under shirt has 3/4 sleeves and comes up fairly high. The silhouette of her skirt can probably be ignored, Barbie always goes pretty middle of the road on the skirts.
she's said she was aiming for early 1600's peasant. This has the spiral laced bodice, high necked shirt underneath.
These are from the tudor tailor book itself
and this one was made using the tudor tailor pattern. I believe they were aiming for the Elizabethan segment of the tudor period, 1558–1603.
OK I said I wasn't gonna talk about Barbie's outfit but just for ONE SECOND ok? (TLDR: 1560s)
