Typology..

I decided to put together the final three images from the loofah experiment. As the object remains the same I feel like this type of typology could work well as mt my final presentation for this creative project. By the setting of this images it looks as if in each image the viewer is getting closer to the middle of the object.

The images I have produced and experimented with up till now could resemble the deep sea / ocean coral. 

It starts to also resemble the body blood vessels which could lead me onto another project.

Opened image in camera raw to adjust settings.

Cropped the image at the start to separate it from distracting high light and background.

Work on the input on levels panel.

changed the preset to negative.

change the RGB settings.

Final image experiment 3.

The image feels very 3d due to the highlight and mixture of RGB chanels. 

To again receive even closer look into the image I have coped it into 3 parts.

Bath loofah experiment 3

I opened the image in camera raw filter and adjust the settings.

using the lev;es input I added more depth into the image.

using the curves tool I changed the preset to negative and experimented with the RGB chanell.

Using the crop tool I croped the imaged very close into the middle.

I again have crop the image even closer and fragmented it into elements to experiment with the typology.

I opened the image in camera raw and adjust the settings. I focused on the highlight as loads of light got through the thin surface of the loofah.

I have adjusted the levels input.

Brought the saturation down to -13.

On the curves tool I have set the preset to negative and worked with the red and blue chanels.

I have crop the image to give it even bigger close up.

Bath loofah contact sheet.

I photographed the bath loofah from different angles shining the light through it. The texture of the loofah was thin so a lot of bright light got through.

Leaf experiment..

I tried to work on the leaf picture using the same editing process as with the previous sponge image, although it did not had as great effect as with the sponge. The texture of the leaf also is not presented as close as I expected.

I have captured some close up shots of the leaf although I am not entirely happy from the results. The leaf texture is interesting although it does not fit within the coral theme I am trying to work around in this project.

I decided to crop even more into the image and fragment the elements of the image to see what kind of final effect would it have. 

I placed the images onto white canvas to create a form of typology. I think this makes the image more interesting and pleasing for the viewers eye.

Final experiment 01.

This is the first final image from the first macro experiment. I decided to crop into the image so the detail of the sponge is more visible and eye catching. The colour might give the impression of oceanic feel and the texture might leave viewer questioning about the object presented on this image.
