15 (what is your character afraid of)

julian is very afraid of planes! it’s a completely irrational fear and he knows it but if you’re ever sitting on a plane next to julian he will be grabbing your hand in a vice grip for like the whole flight. honestly, it’s mostly a control thing i think?? he doesn’t like his life just being so literally in someone else’s hands. he struggles to trust even the pilot so !! if he has the option he’s driving, which funnily enough is probably most of the reason julian has gone to france to visit his extended family so few times!

he’s also very afraid of being separated from his family or his family being separated or failing his siblings in anyway, but that is a very real very personal fear than mostly manifests itself in julian trying too hard at absolutely everything yk. 

he also has an irrational fear of vulnerability, mostly because he thinks that any weakness will be inevitably used against him. ✨ and that’s on having an emotionally manipulative mother.✨

you can pretty easily tell how stressed julian is by the length of his hair! he’s not the type to show stress for the most part but the length of his hair is pretty much generally a dead give away. julian is usually generally pretty clean cut so if you see his hair growing passed his ears,,, you know things are bad. when he gets super stressed during exams or before the bar yk he just has such long hair for him, it’s crazy. but the moment everything is done and he has the time he’s scheduling an appointment with his barber.
