        it  wasn’t  very  common  for  bucky  to  be  there. the  soldier's  presence  in  the  starks  industries  used  to  be  mostly  because  of  steve,  being  for  his  presence  or  because,  as  was  the  case  at  the  time,  he  needed  something  from  there.  even  the  maintenance  periods  of  james’  metal  arm  were  made  at  the  avengers  headquarters  ――  reason  why  bucky  was  clearly  uncomfortable  there,  in  a  place  he  didn’t  know  as  well  as  he  would  like.  he  knew  he  had  nothing  to  worry  about  there,  since  he  wasn’t  at  all  in  enemy  territory;  but  it  was  all  remnants  of  a  mind  that  was  compelled  to  be  alert  while  away  from  his  safe  place.  however,  the  fact  that  he  was  in  that  hyperalert  state  was  the  reason  he  could  hear  the  approaching  footsteps  ――  and  he  knew  to  who  they  belonged  to  before  even  turning  around  to  look.  ʻ ʿ  before  you  say  something,  no.  i’m  still  not  letting  you  mess  with  my  arm.  ʾ ʼ  bucky  said,  finally  being  able  to  relax  a  bit  more  while  blue  hues  hovered  over  julian. ʻ ʿ  but  hey,  buddy.  ʾ ʼ

       he wasn’t sure how long he’d been there, pouring over a new project with too many candy wrappers and coffee cups surrounding him. the brain needs fuel, and at least there’s no scotch mixed with the caffeine this time. it might have been hours, but if it hadn’t been for the constant ( and highly annoying ) influx of text messages telling to eat and the knowledge they wouldn’t stop until he replied with a picture of actual food ― since when snickers bars didn’t count as that? ―, he wouldn’t have moved. he’s halfway through with his loser walk toward the café and food when he sees the man. julian has had eighteen years of trying and failing to catch the man by surprised, so he doesn’t even try, cheekiness taking over his grin when he reaches the man.   ❛  mess with your arm? mess with his arm, he says,  ❜   the boy shakes his head, outrage exacerbated by his natural dramatics.   ❛  how many times must i tell you, uncle bucky. i don’t mess with things, i only improve them.  ❜   no, he definitely makes a mess of a lot of things on a daily basis.   ❛  if you’re not going to finally let me show you all your arm can be, what brings you here?  ❜   it’s a good visit, but he’s at stark industries everyday and he knows this is not a frequent situation.

Their abilities are [ GENIUS INTELLECT & SUIT ARMOR ] and they are working on [ MASTERS DEGREE/ENGINEER AT SI ]. at their best they’re [ INGENIOUS & CHARMING ] but at their worst they can be [ it RESTLESS & AUDACIOUS ].

ava with a super late intro! i am not the greatest at writing these and they get very rambly and forget to touch a lot of things, but let’s give this a try.

tw: brief mentions of death & drug abuse.

julian stark was born a prince, not one with a crown on his head but one with the world in his hands and a mind capable of thinking the future and making it happen too. he’s never wanted for anything and it shows. 

ingenious and bright, he was everything the world seemed to expect from a tony stark son. a little boy who spent too much time pulling things apart only to come up with something better, and with a toy box where tools and circuit boards mixed with blocks and toy cars.

school very quick became a nightmare, not for him but for his teachers who couldn’t hold the too restless and too smart boy’s attention for long and had to deal with julian correcting and challenging them at every corner. 

unsurprisingly, he finished his schooling much earlier and by seventeen he was leaving mit with a dual sb in mechanical engineering and in electrical engineering and computer science. he’s currently studying for his maters and working at stark industries. 

following his dad’s footsteps was always part of the plan. from pretending to be iron man when he was five to messing with his dad’s suits when he shouldn’t and finally working on his own suit his first year of college.  ( i haven’t picked a hero name ok those are hard )

the three years he spent in mit were some of the best but also when what could be considered the most traumatic event of his life happened. it was during his last year there ( and a little over a year ago ) that the research labs at mit were targeted in an attack. 

the goal was to steal some of the technology that was being developed there ( a lot of those by julian ), they failed, but left behind a collapsed building and injured and dead students. 

julian was one of the injured, but worse than his physical injuries or a week long induced coma was the guilt that followed him. to this day, he blames himself for bringing the attackers there ( even though it was not his fault ) and for not being able to save everyone ( even though he got some people and the explosion was unexpected ). 

he was always a reckless kid, looking for fun anywhere he could and not bothering about consequences but after the incident it got worse. he became self-destructive and with zero self-preservation. he will say it has nothing to do with anything.

the now, he is still studying and working and he is officially a hero ( he doesn’t think he deserves that title ). 

personality traits,

positive: adventurous, communicative, spontaneous, curious, energetic, creative, charismatic, bold, strong-willed.

negative: impulsive, restless, immature, fickle, hedonistic, arrogant, reckless, impatient, sardonic.

random,

your everyday rich party boy who drinks way too much and has tried every recreational drug out there. 

needs attention to survive.

has a dog, link, and he is his baby. julian loves him more than he loves a lot of people.

he can go for days with nothing but coffee and ideas. 

can probably fix your car and your computer in under fifteen minutes. or at least figure out what’s wrong in one.

a real jetsetter, he has been all ovr the world. usually partying with his equally rich friends. 

a cocky little shit 99% of the time. does not know what dealing with feelings is. 

do not bring up the whole mit explosion thing. he does not talk about that at all.

as bi as they come but most of his relationships last a week at best.
