Favourite of the model Marta Welna from The Model Team that didn’t make final edit in recent change of the seasons Sunday Herald fashion spread. The series was shot on location at Mhor 84 Motel near Balquidder. They kindly gave us shelter when shooting outside was blocked by horrendous weather.

Ode to the Silent era of cinema: some shots from our Herald Mag inspired by last year’s Festival of Silent Cinema in Bo’ness.  The fifth festival opens this Wednesday and runs until Sunday 22nd March showcasing classics such as ‘Picadilly’ alongside rarer films with live accompaniments.

The shoot was styled by Fashion Editor Eva Arrighi, hair and make-up by Ainslie Currie and alas I can’t remember the model’s name but she was great in the role of silent star.
