No, they don't cheat, they don't dump, they don't break up, they just change. They fade away. Friendships fade away. Fade away with time, or because the other finds someone better or maybe because of the fact that we're humans and we make mistakes and not every time they're forgiven. This word- "friendship", its more complicated than the word love, not only because it has more letters but it has a meaning unexplainable, a bond inexpressible. This bond is not paired from the powers above, but there's a magic within the soul which attracts the other. By other, I don't mean the one who'll be your life partner but the one who'll be an aid for your life. A soul upon whom you can count anytime to be there for you- that's a friend you find right there. Or do you? Do all find friends at some point of life? Yes. Do all find true friends in life? Just a few. You meet someone- laugh, smile, play, talk, cry and fight with them. Slowly it's a part of your soul that they have consumed. But little do you know that this is one of the weakest bonds. And then, the sad part comes, we see the friend in a person fade away and feel our bond getting weaker and then when they're gone, it's a part of our soul that they've taken with them. And then weāre just two strangers, maybe meeting often and maybe craving each others attention, for we both know it somewhere, that, flawless souls aren't we and this friendship wasn't true because we had flaws in us, just a few.
