These are the very first paintings I made for Avatar Aang: The Last Airbender. I designed the art style for the Sonam and Tagah scenes throughout the film! I want to thank PD Jake Panian and AD Aaron Loftis for trusting me so much with these parts of the movie; their incredible leadership and support carried our entire team.

It would be fun if we can compare and contrast Avatar Aang movie from the leaks and the official release. I bet some of those Denied scenes are actually going to be fully rendered instead of being flat.

It's a pretty a late leak so not much is going to change. You think they would add little scenes though?

Zuko couldn’t kill his father on the eclipse day because of how much of a political clusterfuck that would be … Azula would’ve ascended to the throne because Zuko wouldn’t be able to stay in the Fire Nation after committing patricide and also the highest form of treason. She’s a much more formidable opponent to face since she LITERALLY killed Aang before. Zuko was playing 4D chess trying to line everything up so that Aang wouldn’t have the odds stacked against him AND he’d given him ample time to come up with a plan if he didn’t want to use violence but Aang said some fuckshit like GLUEBENDING in the literal final hour. Just playing with millions of people’s lives and also his own 💀. Zuko was entirely valid for having an aneurysm about that shit.

On Saturday I said to my partner, as I have said for months, "A ten thousand dollar a year raise would solve so many of my problems."

As of this morning I was reluctantly looking for jobs because I love my job and don't want to leave it, but see: $10k raise problem solver.

As of noon today this was no longer an issue, because my boss called me with the news that I was getting a $10K merit raise.

I feel like a huge weight has been lifted off my shoulders. This is roughly $200 extra per paycheck. Enough to pay off debt faster, rebuild my savings, and spend a weekend a month in Milwaukee getting obscenely laid. The sex I'm going to have on $200 extra per paycheck. You can't even.

May all of you get the $10K raise your soul has yearned for. And whatever level of sex you can be satisfied with for $200.

I’m not mad for the record, I think it’s likely there is original art they want to wait to reveal or maybe it’s not quite ready yet but like… imagine some of the other character portraits with babies pasted on top… one assumes Eiland would hold a baby like this…

But like… there’s also this…

The thought of it has been making me laugh.

Poor Celine doesn’t have arms at all in her portrait… presumably the baby would have to learn to hover…
