Family Is Everything Challenge
This is a Sims 4 Challenge I made about a year ago, myself. I’ve played through it a few times myself and can confirm, yes it is a fun play-through. It is meant to be a legacy challenge with lots of set ways to play every generation but still giving you a lot of creative freedom. Please play this through and let me know what you think! Also tag me in any posts you make about this challenge, I would love to see your interpretations!!!!
“I was adopted because my mother couldn’t have children, so I want to have as many children as possible”
~Start as one young adult, created however you want
~Must use any family aspiration and family orientated trait.
~Move into a starter home, 1 or 2 bedrooms
~Need to be a stay at home mom/dad (must be able to get pregnant)
~Earn simoleans from collecting, painting, writing, etc.
~Have as many kids as possible until you become an elder, at least 6 (need to be a full household)
~You can choose to have a spouse or not, if you do: must get married before they can move in, spouse must have the hates children and slob trait, spouse can have career to help get a bigger house.
“I had way too many siblings growing up and never got alone time, I want to focus on my career and friends”
~Any child from previous generation can heir, need to have ambitious and materialistic traits
~Master political career and mixology skill
~Become friends with all co-workers
~On your off time from work go out and party/hang out with friends as much as possible
~As a late Adult (almost elder) decide you want kids and have one child (or two if you have twins)
~Never marry, but can have relationships
“My Parent and I never got real close, I figured there was no reason to stay”
~Move out on birthday becoming a young adult
~Join Culinary career, get to level 5 in career then sim doesn’t move forward, can’t seem to compete with colleagues
~Start seeing another sim and fall in love – can have as many kids as you choose
~After you get married spouse finds love for cooking and masters career and cooking skill
~Heir sim gets jealous and divorces spouse, never marries again and continues to raise children
“My parents didn’t last due to jealousy issues, because of this I despise them for ruining my childhood”
~Must have evil and insane traits
~Enemies with both parents
~Master Criminal career (any branch) and mischief skill
~Marry someone for their money and cheat with their best friend
~Fall in love with spouse’s best friend but never leave spouse due to fear of instability
~Have one child with spouse and “accidental” child with their best friend
“I don’t agree with my parent’s marriage or career choices, I want to stray away from this family’s issues”
~Must have ambitious and noncommittal traits
~Master athletic skill and Detective career
~Stay single and build up your starter home from your own earnings
~Find love from a co-worker, try to play hard to get even after you have a child together, avoiding moving in or marrying
~Finally move in when you become elders
~Retire from career after mastered and take up any skill as hobbie
“Why was my mother/father so against relationships? Nothing is wrong with them, I actually hate being single”
~Must have romantic trait and serial romantic aspiration
~Master painter career and skill
~As a young adult try to be in many “serious relationships” at once
~Marry one with the highest compatibility but keep seeing the others
~Fill your house with kids and don’t let anyone meet the other men/women
~Caught in the act by your spouse as elders but they don’t leave
“My mother/father was never home, I guess being a famous artist had something to do with it”
~Must have childish and geek trait
~Master Tech Guru career and programming skill
~Very close to the other parent (not the cheater) barely know the other
~Decide to marry high school sweetheart
~Have one child then spouse passes away slowly distance yourself from the child
~Try to find other partner’s but never become happy.
“My parents were perfect for each other. I miss them so much. I never want to do that to my kids”
~Must have Super Parent aspiration
~Family oriented and vegetarian traits
~Master parenting and gardening skill
~Vow to only feed family home grown food
~Marry any sim and have as many kids as you choose
~Never divorce and keeps children’s grades up B or higher
“I hated eating nothing but veggies fish is my favorite!”
~Must have Angling Ace aspiration
~Marry someone just like your parents and try to make them enjoy your fish
~Teach all children how to fish
~Drive everyone crazy with your fish obsession so you have no friends
~Start with The Curator aspiration get 2/4 done then unlock and complete nthe grilled cheese aspiration
~Completed at least one collection
~Never marry due to your obsessions
~Be friends with only aliens

~Start with heir from last generation, adopt 7 strays to fill household
~Master pet training skill
~Completely train at least one animal, every trick and obstacle course
~Make friends with all strays, on household traits use both Dog and Cat Hangout traits
~Try to make one of your pets mate with strays/neighbors pets
