I need to put this Junibelle project on hold for now due to a computer emergency issue. My computer is an 8 year-old Lenovo ThinkPad E570 in which the battery is aging and I’m raising funds to get an iPad to replace it so that way I can continue to work on this Junibelle project, even though it’s supposed to be for a brand design and consultation business that I’m working to build.

About | Narrative Kite
Even in silence, God speaks to the heart that listens.
🌼 Marigold – The Gentle Village Mama 🌼
Age: Mid-30s to 40s Species: Labrador (Anthropomorphized for storytelling) Personality: Nurturing, perceptive, quietly strong, graceful, and deeply steady Likes: Early-morning tea brewing, fresh laundry dried in sea breeze, picking herbs, knitting simple gifts, handwritten recipes, floral hats, tending her marigold garden Dislikes: Rushed schedules, harsh voices, clutter, anything that disrupts the peace of her home, and needless conflict
Appearance
Marigold has warm beige fur, soft and smooth like fresh bread. Her eyes are gentle and deep, carrying the calm of someone who listens more than she speaks. She wears simple blue dresses paired with a white apron, and her signature pink sunhat decorated with a bright orange flower. She often carries a woven basket—sometimes filled with herbs, sometimes pastries, sometimes little surprises for her family.
Her posture is always relaxed, and there’s a quiet kindness in her smile that makes others instantly feel safe.
Biography
Marigold grew up in a coastal village not far from where she now raises her family. The rhythm of the tide, the scent of the salt air, and the soft rustling of garden leaves shaped her into the gentle soul she is today. She learned the art of herbal teas and natural remedies from her grandmother, who taught her that peace begins in the home and spreads outward like sunlight.
When she moved into the little cottage where Junibelle was born, Marigold filled it with warmth—fresh flowers, patchwork linens, jars of herbs, and the comforting aroma of simmering soup.
Marigold is known in the village for her quiet insight. She can sense when someone is troubled, and she has a gift for saying exactly what they need to hear—or simply offering a warm cup of tea and a peaceful presence. She doesn’t speak loudly, but her words carry weight. She rarely rushes, believing that a slow, steady life keeps the heart clear.
Her relationship with Junibelle is tender and patient. She encourages Junibelle’s curiosity, teaches her the beauty of simple work, and fills their days with small rituals: morning tea, garden walks, and tiny celebrations for even the smallest joys.
To Marigold, home is sacred—a place where warmth and gentleness heal the soul.
Fun Facts
Marigold keeps a recipe book passed down from her grandmother, filled with pressed herbs and handwritten notes.
Her hat collection is surprisingly large—each one with a different flower pinned to the brim.
She bakes “comfort biscuits” for anyone who looks even a little sad.
Her favorite time of day is dawn, when the mist curls over the garden and the world feels brand new.
She never leaves the house without her woven basket; she says it’s “just in case someone needs something.”
Theme
Cottagecore warmth, gentle homemaking, slow living, soft emotional wisdom, and the quiet strength that shapes a peaceful home.
🌸 Junibelle – The Cottagecore Pup 🌸
Age: 7 years old Species: Pup (Anthropomorphized for storytelling) Personality: Gentle, imaginative, endlessly curious, and a little whimsical Likes: Morning dew walks, wildflowers, baking tiny treats, collecting leaves and feathers, cozy nooks, and handwritten letters Dislikes: Too many loud noises, hurried footsteps, modern technology, and anything that disrupts the calm of nature
Appearance: Junibelle has soft, light gold fur that glows warmly in the sun. She has large, expressive eyes that reflect a quiet intelligence. Her hands and feet are always clean, even though she wears little shoes and she adorns herself with two delicate purple daisies, adding a touch of natural charm to her gentle cottagecore style.
Biography: Junibelle was born in a sun-dappled cottage at the edge of a sleepy village near the ocean, surrounded by forests, streams, and gardens that seemed almost magical. From the moment she could toddle, she explored every corner of the countryside.
Even at seven years old, Junibelle shows a remarkable understanding of the world around her. She communicates through gentle gestures, soft expressions, and an uncanny ability to sense when someone is feeling sad or lost. She has a penchant for storytelling, often gathering her woodland friends to “read” her own little adventures written on scraps of paper.
Junibelle’s home is a reflection of her soul: warm, welcoming, and filled with curiosities. She loves to bake tiny pastries with foraged and locally-sourced honey and herbs, decorate her little rooms with wildflowers and hand-stitched crafts, and spend hours by the window, sketching the world outside. Though she is small, her spirit is expansive, always encouraging those around her to slow down and notice the quiet beauty of life.
Fun Facts:
Junibelle has a special collection of teacups and tiny mismatched plates for her woodland tea parties.
She keeps a journal, mostly filled with sketches, pressed flowers, and notes about the clouds.
She gives hugs—a soft, comforting nuzzle that somehow makes everyone feel at home.
Her favorite season is spring, when the village garden bursts into colors and the air smells like fresh rain.
Theme: Cottagecore, cozy, gentle magic, and small moments of wonder in everyday life.
