im still in disbelief that magic man came and gifted us with one (1) single beautiful album that was full of so much love and happiness and emotion and made my heart do all sorts of things and made me feel like i was on top of the world when i blasted it in my car late at night with the windows down with timeless jam texas and the actual life changing it all starts here which hit me harder than any song ever and made me feel like there was so much good ahead of me AND their music had so much future potential they even teased new songs and then!!!!! they just!!!! disappeared!!!!!!!!! without a word!!!!!!!!!!!

they had so much genius to give and we got only a small fraction of it and honestly i feel blessed we even got that but also what the FUCK man

you know when you’ve listened to your favorite album so many times that you know its ins and outs, its transitions, every single note of every single song and its so familiar to you that sometimes you dont even think about it too much anymore when youre listening to it because everything about it is just so automatic for you and it just provides a sense of calm and ease but every now and then all of the emotions and all of the little special things that made you fall head over heels in love with the album in the first place just hits you when you least expect it and you feel it squeeze your heart like the very first time and you get reminded why this album will be a part of you for the rest of your life

the warm glow ep feels like simple and easy happiness. it feels like resting your head on someone you love and soft smiles. its sitting so close to someone your limbs are tangled and feeling the comfort of their presence. its open windows and sleepy afternoons and light breezes swaying leaves. its savoring the little things and living moment by moment. it feels like the end of summer and moving on but being okay because there is so much more waiting for you. its finding yourself after being lost for too long. it feels like returning to a place that holds the traces of your sweetest memories. warm glow feels like home.

i know i havent been active lately, college has had me busier than i thought id be but know that im still on that hippo campus bullshit and im seeing COIN next week and life has been treating me far too well!

honestly landmark is such wonderfully done album and it swept me up as soon as i listened to it and i remember wondering how on earth hippo campus was ever going to be able to top this because i couldnt even imagine what the next level for hippo campus could be but wow warm glow is phenomenal and has exceeded all expectations. it shows how much talent and potential hippo campus has and serves as a reminder that this is only the beginning for them. i love them so much.

i dont think ive ever been hit with such overwhelming emotion from music as fast as i have with the warm glow ep god every note feels like a drop of sunshine into my heart i get swept up by every song the lyrics are so pretty i wish i had the words to do this ep justice but all i can say is that its lovely lovely lovely

god how is it that hippo campus’s lyrics are always so soft but still hit me so hard the lyrics for these new songs are so lovely and feels like a breath of fresh air im deep in love

Not to be dramatic or anything but Nathan’s south solo, his solo in Warm Glow or him singing in general, clears my skin better than any skincare product out there

i cant believe that after all that begging and suffering baseball is finally out there in the world like....im excited but this to me is in equivalence with finding out the author of my immortal or leo dicaprio getting that oscar the hippo campus timeline will forever be split into before and after the release of baseball and anyone who wasn’t part of the before will never get why this was such A Thing
