I DUNNO IF THIS IS PROPER TUMBLR ETIQUETTE but i wanted to ask as a lead up from my last ask what route was inspired off of clannad

So there's a joke route in the clannad vn where if you meet and reject all the other girls it gives you an option to confess your undying love to your guy best friend Sunohara. I thought that was awesome enough to model the part where you have to collect all the extremist's items (true ending/jreg route/whatever I called it before) after it. It's obviously not one-to-one (the route changed a lot from the first draft to the point where the inspiration isn't even recognizable anymore) but I liked the idea that starting and rejecting every romance option would unlock a secret route.

Yeah I can see that, I do however think that the abrasiveness comes more from fear (ideological reasons) and when he tries to love he does it sincerely he's just a Weird Freak about it. For him to be a true tsundere he'd have to be more in denial about his affections (which tbf is a common fandom interpretation I just personally don't really see that in canon).

finals season is upon us and i happened to find your absolutely perfect VN at a very canonical time. thank you so much for making it! may have lit the flames of hyperfixation anew but whatever, man... worth it. so creatively inspiring and really bitchslapped me with the true end...

Thank you for playing it :)) When I first started planning the true end I remembered how disappointed I was at the original series' ending and knew I had to make something better lol. It was actually the only ending that was planned out from the start, the rest were kinda just made up as I went along. To make up for that though, I tried to have the mechanics of each route (mutual aid, stock market sim, improving friendships, marriage) line up with each character's personality.

Anyway, glad to be an inspiration and hope you did well on your finals
