The ways in which estrogen affects breast development is a little more obvious, but testosterone's effect on fat redistribution and the fact that a lot of people on T bind or tape their chests can also impact tissue and elasticity. This can cause stretch marks or sagginess for people on any type of HRT, which of course is normal, but can factor into the appearance of both types of top surgery. Consider applying cocoa butter to your chest to prevent and improve stretch marks and improve skin elasticity if you're concerned about this at all.

- Salicylic acid, an active ingredient in a lot of face washes and skincare products to treat and prevent acne, has been shown in some studies to slow or prevent the growth of facial hair. If facial hair is something you're wanting as part of your transition, consider looking for alternative active ingredients like benzoyl peroxide.
