I have recently watched the new episode of TADC and was filled with a whole lot of mixed emotions about it, and I SERIOUSLY need to talk about it because I feel there was a lot of stuff unanswered.

I first want to give an overview and a kind of rating of the episode and the show as a whole. First the show...I'll have to give a solid 8/10. Reason why. I believe they lost the plot and kind of lost me after episode 6. I LOVED episode 8, it was very well put together, but I had a problem with how they went into each character's back stories and how they found out how they got there. I also don't like how some of the characters were presented and just never really mentioned again, EVEN THOUGH THEY HAD A BIG INFLUENCE ON THE PLOT. We don't get any explanation on Able, and not much on Scratch. And the fact that some of the characters that had a main influence on the main cast, DONT GET MENTIONED AS MUCH! Now, to talk about the episode, I will start off by listing the pros and the cons. Starting with the pros:
We got to see more chemistry between certain characters, how certain character relationships were destroyed, and how that affected their mental state.
I enjoyed how the voice acting was placed for the fight between Jax and Ribbit. It felt very real, and you can tell GooseWrox put effort into creating distance between characters.
Kaufmo was the definition of the guy that no one thinks about and that people miss out on the moments where the person is serious.
I love how we get to see Jax in a more positive light before she became the jackass that we all don't like today. (I still have a soft spot for them, but I'm also very scared of them)
The animation quality gets better with every episode, and this episode had to be the best one, especially with better interaction from other characters.
The last thing I liked was that they kept true to their inspiration for the piece and did very well to destroy our feelings :3.
Now with the cons: THERE ARE SO MANY BRO!
I hate how Pomini is like glazed throughout the whole show. I feel like Pomini doesn't really add anything to the plot besides being the stereotypical MC.
I dislike how we really don't go into everyone's real storyline and how it is presented that they're just mind copies of people who are still living their lives.
I don't like how randomly Caine comes back with no clear explanation of how it works.
At first, I didn't like how Jax just abstracted with no explanation, but then it makes sense that someone who commits you really don't see what they're going through.
WE NEVER GET A CLEAR EXPLANATION ON ABLE. Like, it was so anti-climactic on how they presented Able, and I wish they could have done more about the character, especially because it is very clear that Able has a huge effect on Caine emotionally and physically, and it was passed over like it was nothing.
Zooble's reaction to Jax's abstraction was really cringe, and it didn't make the situation any better. Could have been a better reaction.
Jax and Ragatha's relationship was not talked about enough, especially the scene where Jax LITERALLY CHOKES POMINI BECAUSE SHE ABSTRACTED!
WHAT WAS THAT WEIRD FLIRTY STUFF BETWEEN JAXS AND GANGLE. It was very uncomfortable and didnt really show the relationship of Jax and Gangle. Just...not my thing.
I would have liked to see more of the characters from the beginning cause...THEY WERE LITERALLY THERE IN THE BEGINNING, AND THEY GIVE US A CLEAR EXPLANATION OF HOW THE CIRCUS WORKS.
WHERE IS QUEENIE?!?! WHERE IS MY DIVA AND WE DONT GET AN EXPLANATION OF WHAT HAPPENED TO HER OR THE OTHERS!!!
It was very rushed. I wanted more detail.
The show was a huge part of my figuring out how other people's perspectives work and of becoming more empathetic. I love this show. I love the characters and how each character is weird in their own crazy way, making queer kids feel seen. I feel seen. It was an escape from reality that I didn't think I needed. I wish we got more of these characters, but it's okay, I guess. It was worth the watch. I give episode 6/10.
