I hadn't watched ii post hard launch and something about the line 'thanks for watching and for all of the memes // it's been terrible for us off the scenes' hit very differently, because yes they (esp dan) wanted to say a genuine thank you (and goodbye) but also in many ways it was terrible for them behind the scenes, they were hiding and anxious and couldn't be truly themselves. I am just so glad we got the timeline with the good ending because ouch
