This was typical Nate. He had always been rather flirty with her and if she was honest with herself, she enjoyed his attention. With a roll of her eyes at his threat, a small smirk formed on her lips. She wasn’t at all intimidated by his threat, but she sure wouldn’t want her company to have to do damage control if a kiss were to be shared between the two.
After listening to him sing the chorus once, she remembered the melody and lyrics and began singing along with him, her husky voice melodically blending with Nathaniel’s and forming a beautiful sound between the two.
When the song finished, the crowd roared – almost as loudly as they did every time Hiro took to the stage half dressed. As the lights dimmed, Nathaniel took Hyorin’s hand and lead her back stage, half pulling her to ensure she didn’t get away. Passing the other band members, he led her to one of the unused dressing rooms before closing the door behind them.
“You didn’t tell me you were coming,” he said, voice hushed, “Sorry I haven’t called.” And Nathaniel was, even though he wasn’t very good at calling anyway. Fingers brushed through her hair as a faint smile curved on his lips, “Sorry about the room too. I thought I’d get a few moments with you before the other boys demand your attention. Matt’s a bit of a fan.”
